the hotel is well situated in north point, close to metro, tram. the rooms are small, but cosy. the breakfast is great. the swimming pool is nice but you hear the noise of the road.
Shopping Tip:
Times Square shopping center, including food forum, is quite close by taxi and very interesting

First time on this perfect location, very near to expo fair (5-10 min whith taxi), a few steps to busy street whith many features. Very clean complete hotel, rooms maybe litlle to smal, but equipped fantastic, big LCD, work glass desk, fax, internet, perfect comfort bed whith perfect pillow (i never sleep better), bathroom very exlusive equipped including and TV ! Services and complete personal very profesional (maybe on moments to strict, but because of policy of hotel -:)). Prices of food and drink in hotel are too high (of chourse understend level of this hotel, but it's too much....). For shure is true: The best new city hotel in world (award that have this hotel). Enjoy...great value....

A great short stay

We flew in at 9am and wanted an early check in and late checkout as we had a 1.5 day stopover and wanted showers and a base for the time we were there. Nothing was a problem except they didn't confirm via email but all was ok on arrival. Great location and value for money and easy to get around from via the MTR. The view across the bay is excellent from seaview rooms.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The MTR seriously easy to get around Hong Kong. If on a short stay 1-2 days Leave your bags at airport (Left Bags counter) and head to hotel via express, you can buy new clothes etc very cheaply and its part of the HK experience. with the tickets for express or MTR Octopus you get discounts to most attractions. look them up on arrival.

The hotel was Ok , not the best 5* hotel. Around the hotel the area is no good, but the view of the harbour is nice. The rooms very small for a 5* hotel, they put an extra "bed" with no matress. It was very hard for a person to sleep. The breakfast was ok but exactly the same every day. The personell was not always to give tourist information.

I selected this hotel based on the pics and reviews and another site. The hotel is located in an area that has a large, apparently abandoned building on one side and some auto garages in it's vicinity. As I walked into the lobby I saw that it was large, spacious, and beautiful,. There was even a woman playing a harp on the stair landing which I though was a nice touch. Once I got to the room though I was disappointed. The room seemed cramped, smaller than I expected. Because I had selected a harbour club room the internet was included in the cost. Some things were extremely expensive. I went to the bar around 11:45 PM to get a glass of Coke. It cost around 6 dollars U.S. That's pretty steep for a can of coke and a glass. I didn't eat here (and that was based on guest reviews).

Harbour Grand Hong Kong "The Great Seaview Place"

Honeymoon couples should consider this hotel regarding to the great scenery. Standard room costs fairly. Hotel staffs provide standard hospitality.Just a housekeeping maid opened the room without ringing [she uses Chinese to apologize us]. We got a room with two beds on the first night though we'd requested 1 big bed, but hotel finally changed to Kingsize room on the 2nd night.We did not try F&B in the hotel, so no comment on this. Generally, the harbour grand hotel should recieve 8.5 points out of 10.

The rooms were very nice, clean, and well-styled. My wife and I were very comfortable staying there - we thought it was very good value.
I wish the hotel location was closer to nice dining options, nightlife, and shopping, however there was a subway station that was conveniently located nearby.
I would stay here again mainly due to value.
