HARBOUR PLAZA HONG KONG

I stayed at the Harbour Plaza Hong Kong during November 8 - 15. I stayed on the Club Floor. I was quite impressed with how big the rooms were and the view of the Harbour was spectacular! When I arrived, upon checkin I was taken to the Harbour Club floor since I was staying in a Harbour View room on the club floor. The staff were very friendly and very courteous. On my birthday I was surprised to find a bottle of Chardonay and a cake with Happy Birthday on it. I was very impressed with how far this hotel went to make me feel special! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay on the Kowloon side in Hong Kong.
Shopping Tip:
Go to Whampoa. They have a grocery store and outlets there.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Harbour Plaza Hong Kong Hotel. I think it has changed its name now but when I was there it was still the Harbour Plaza Hong Kong Hotel. I stayed on the Harbour view club floor level and my view of hong kong harbour was spectacular! I felt that this hotel was a really good deal for the money that I spent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Star Ferry is within 5 minutes walking distance.

Superkingsize bed, spectacular views, amazing rooftop jacuzzi and pool, swift shuttle bus service plus all the details that 5 star usually has.

Excellent hotel. You can access the hotel via ferry from TST or North Point, its quick and cheap. There is a superb shuttle bus from the hotel to the bottom of Nathan rd. The pool is amazing and the views are spectacular. There is a pool and a jacuzzi all on the roof, there is a bar service and plenty of loungers and towels. The rooms are quite big with a lovely big bathroom. Our bed was enormous, super king size and was so very comfy and the bedding was clean and silky. Overall we had a fabulous time at the Harbour Plaza and I would definately recomment it.
Shopping Tip:
There is a 7-11 next to Starbucks in Whampoa Garden.

Another great stay
Well-run, attractive hotel with splendid harbor views - great location in Whampoa Garden, which has an Outback steakhouse, lots of little restaurants, two grocery stores, and a movie theater. Hotel also offers a free shuttle to the train station and Harbour City.

My husband and I really enjoy this hotel. It's a great place to stay for adult couples. Not sure how great it would be for families with children. The location is very convenient - just 5 min. from the station on the Kowloon side. Harbour view rooms are not too expensive, and the food is incredible.
Shopping Tip:
Walk to the ferry about 4 minutes away to get a quick boat ride to IFC for lovely afternoon tea, or more movie selections, or top shopping.

Very good hotel with large rooms and harbour view rooms have stunning views.Excellent roof top pool with great views and plenty of space.Bring your own broadband as charges in this hotel are crazy.
Plenty of taxis available at hotel lobby and a selection of restuarants can be found a short distance from the hotel.The rooms are very spacious and comfortable but the hotel overall is a bit on the expensive side for long stays.

Harbour view rooms are spacious and have stunning views with ships sailing right by your room window .Rooftop pool well worth a visit and great views of harbour. I believe this hotel is used a lot for weddings for photo shoots at the pool.Plenty taxis at lobby and its only a ten minute ride into city centre.

Selection of restaurants can be found within walking distance of hotel.

Great view, service, location... perfect hotel!
4 min walk to the ferry, 5 min taxi to the train station, panoramic views of the harbour, great restaurants inside the hotel, incredible service, very comfortable beds.

My husband and I have stayed several times at this hotel, and will continue to do so. With a great location in Whampoa Garden (close to grocery stores, upscale restaurants, ferry and train stations) and an unparalleled view of the harbor, this hotel is spectacular. One week-end they had overbooked, and upgraded us for free. Another week-end was our anniversary, and we had a complementary bottle of wine waiting for us. Now that's service.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The ferry is a 4 minute walk. Use it! It takes you right to central, and costs less than $1.

Harbour Plaza Hong Kong Hotel
The hotel was very opulent with a pleasant man meeting and greeting at the door, taxis always available outside. Best features were the 5 or 6 different restaurants onsite especially the waterfront bar attached to the hotel where you could sit outside and overlook the delightful harbour. The food and service were excellent.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Hong Kong Plaza and would definitely stay there again. The location was fantastic with uninterrupted harbor views. Fantastic choice of restaurants onsite, coffee and cakes available in the mornings in the foyer cafe. The food and service was excellent with polite and helpful staff. The hotel is beautiful and clean. Beds were turned down every night and dirty towels and soaps replaced. English plug sockets in the rooms were a bonus as I could take my own hairdryer and it worked. My favourite place was the waterfront bar attached to the hotel, sitting outside in the warm evening air was delightful, fabulous views,busy buzzing environment and excellent food and service, Would highly recommend.
