It is just wonderful to be able to spend time strolling, shopping, eating, taking pictures in a 'real Chinese' neighborhood. I even placed an online order with Fortress electronics (up the block and around the corner) which was delivered free of charge, and is being held by the concierge until my return. A little taste of what it might be like to live in Whampoa Gardens and at Harbour Plaza. Make yourself, with their help, feel at home!
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the hotel shuttle, take a stroll to the ferry and ride it as well.

It's great to be 10/15 away from the centers of action for both HK Island and Kowloon, and be able to come 'home' to such quiet. And to be able to take a safe, peaceful walk day or night along the harbor.

Overall I'd recommend this hotel to anyone going to HK. Very nice and excellent view of the city.
Food and restaurant is excellent!
No MTR station nearby, but free shuttle bus service to and from the center every 30 minutes.

This hotel would suit families and is a real oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Nathan road and there is no traffic noise.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ferry to Hong Kong Island very near to hotel and taxi service is excellent.

Worth trying as an alternative to TST hotels. If you are hungry at night, you must go outside to feed your stomach or room service.
Hotel appears popular for wedding receptions. Relax in lobby and watch the celebrants.

Take the free hotel shuttle bus to the subway and shopping area of Kowloon.

The position of the toilet in the bathroom was strange. I am 6'3" and barely could fit due to the strange placement. Furthermore, the internet charges were very high comparing with other US hotels when even budget ones allowed free usage nowadays.
- Restaurant Tip : The O'Carol French restaurant was great and also The Spaghetti House. Both were a short walking distance from the hotel. I also enjoyed short trips to Pacific Coffee Company where you can get Internet access without the high charges like in the hotel.
