Clean Comfortable Rooms, Good Location, Friendly Staff The hotel is under renovation but its hardly noticeable. The hotel is very nice, rooms are bigger than the ones on Hong Kong side and very clean. The furniture is starting to look a little updated but the hotel making a major renovation. The main restaurant at the hotel has a very good buffet selection. All the staff is friendly and usually every request we had was solved immediately. For check in and check out the service was fast enough.

All in all a great hotel. Worth the money. It's great if you have little kids and need a kitchen (I came with a 5 year old and a 6 month old). The suite is a little tight for 2 adults and 2 kids, but we could manage.
Staff is friendly but does not always know the best answer for foreigners. For example, when I asked for a large supermarket to buy basics, they sent me to a supermarket called Joyco (attached to department store). It's ok, but a 10 minute taxi ride from the hotel and much of the food only had labels written in Mandarin. I can't read Mandarin, so it was tough to figure out what food was what.
A far better supermarket is in the Harbour City Mall which I could walk to from the shuttle stop at Kowloon Hotel. Better supermarket is called 'City Super' on 3rd level of mall.
Hotel Feature Tip : Go through the hotel lobby to the Metropolis mall for your morning coffee/tea. Also, use the laundry service in the mall. It's only $32HK for 7 lbs of laundry. A total must with kids. Laundry service was really good, but took nearly 2 days to get clothes back.

We arrived around 2.00pm and our room wasn't ready. It was the first time we had to experience something like this in this hotel. Hope they can improve for the future...

Great transportation coverage from the hotel and friendly helpful staff to get me around where I wanted to go.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Dinner buffet boat cruise from the hotel was excellent and reasonable.

Will be good to give some kind of reward for those returned travelers.
Restaurant Tip : A food court with variety of food to choose in economic price for a meal in the shopping center nearby.

Appears this would be a great hotel for a wedding as all shops nearby are wedding related shops as is the hotel
Nightlife Tip : Go to the night horse racing via booking the tour at the hotel......a great night and worth the money.

Overall I found this hotel good value for money and in my opinion the fact that it is not right in the city center is more than offset by its lovely location by the harbour and its comparatively generous sized rooms. Some of the rooms in city center hotels resemble a shoe box in comparison.

The rooms in the hotel are very spacious according to what you usually get in HKG. For me it is the best hotel in terms of value for your money...

Generally a very nice hotel with a good standard & good service level. Was good value for money & reasonable location had obligatory mall attached & is close to train/bus & ferries.
