we booked a suite room with kitchen facilities. they provided all the required things for the kitchen. the location of the hotel is very good. just opposite of the road is the nearest mtr station (quarry bay). mcdonals, seven eleven are withing walking distance. the hotel does not provide a free internet which was really bad. they charged for 24 hrs internet facility. for the air port transfer they also charge which was really good for the new commers. the gym facilities are free of charge. the front desk services were very good and helpful. rooms were clean and well maintained. hope, i'll stay here again in future, if i visit hong kong again.

Not so pleasant experience this time. The front desk first assigned us to a connecting-room, which we stressed we didn't want that. Then we requested to change to another room, but then this room is even worse as the so-called King's double bed is actually formed by two single-bed mattress!! connecting mattress only!!! It's unbelievable for a hotel with such high standard to serve this way. Disappointing indeed!
Restaurant Tip:
The restaurant in the hotel is quite nice.

Decent hotel if you need to be at this location

this is my backup hotel whenever i need to be at this area and my first choice is fully booked. rooms are dated and old , even being upgraded to a junior suite with a sea view. this is a tour package hotel and tend to be a bit crowded when tour buses arrive. noise levels are mid-high and sound proofing needs improvement. rooms are fairly clean, with the most basic of amenities. internet is chargeable and fairly expense for today's standards. for the price of the room, you can't complain much, decent sized and clean sheets. mtr station is across the street. staff is fuss free too..if you get what i mean.

Great location, great view but small room

great reception, front desk officer who attended to us was very helpful specially with the directions of going around the city. the hotel is also ready with the city map, their calling card and shuttle schedule. understands english pretty well.
the room is small though that is why we just requested for the extra bed to be pulled out as it id blocking the way to the window with a great view of the harbour. funny that when they pulled out the bed they pulled out the pillows and the blanket too considering there is three of us in the room.
i also appreciate the small kitchen in the room equipped with sink and microwave oven that doesn't seem to work. can't find the plug nor the switch for it.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you are to visit Disneyland check the schedule of the parade. You may also want to ask at around what time and where the photo ops will be before you miss the chance og taking the pictures if your fave Disney character.

i got upgraded to a serviced suite which was a pleasant surprise. the suite had everything - a large living room, dining space and a small kitchenette and a good sized bedroom. the toiletries were adequate and the housekeeping staff were always prompt and neat. the lunch and dinner choices were not that great and expensive too. the breakfast @ is a very good deal for an 'all you can eat' spread of western, asian and traditional choices. the hotel has a coin operated laundry though it is only for serviced suite guests and not for regular room guests...weird! the location is good with quarry bay mtc exit c just across the street. there is also a wellcome supermarket across the hotel. so you can buy essentials there.
Restaurant Tip:
Walk towards Taikoo place to find a greater choice of restaurants on the main road or the side alleys. You can always take the MTR to causeway bay or wanchai to hit the popular hangouts.

me and my family (6 people)are went for holiday to hongkong and stayed at harbour plaza north point hotel. it was a memorable holiday for us because this is the first time for me came to hongkong with my family go along. first impression stayed in this hotel it was a lovely hotel and service with a smile. all staffs at the hotel are friendly and helpfully and take good care of us when we were stayed there. my children were enjoyed and hopefully to go back again next time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you go with your family with young children better to arrange with tour so they can take care of us. Choose the arrangement which is not to much place to see. It can make your children tired.
