size of room, access to many restaurants (in attached mall buildings). gym and pool

120 HKD per day for in room internet. VERY far away from the parts of HK where you want to be (min 45 minutes by MTR and light rail is required after the last MTR stop). nothing else to do in area. strange vibe, huge mall/movie theater complex (which is a pro for some people, the place was filled with retired/elderly Chinese tourists)

not worth the huge room with a view for the pricey internet and hassle getting to/from central HK.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : no sightseeing nearby. you need to take the MTR to its end and then get on a light rail to reach the town where this hotel is (and nothing else). whatever you save by staying so far outside HK you spend for internet and travel ($ and time).

an used water left in room from the previous guest

Good hotel with enough facilities, many restaurant and shps near hotel. We can spend 2 hours to sightseeing nearby. We have already upgrade to delux room at 22/F, very good view. One thing need to remind, remeber to check the water which is free for guest. We experienced those water has already been used and housekeeping forgot to change.

Clean. Upper floors have nice view of the area.

Farm fromo the city. Takes almost an hour to get into the city on the MTR

ABout 16 HKD to take a taxi to the TIn SHui Wai MTR Station. From there it takes about an hour to get into the city. Next time we are in HK we will stay closer to the city.

Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel does offer bus service to the airport. We used this on the way out and I think it was about 120 HKD. To get to the hotel we just grabbed a taxi at the airport but one can find the hotel shuttle if they are willing to wait for it.

If you are traveling around that portion of district like Wetland park, lau fu shan for seafood, mei po and don't wanna waste time in traffic, this is the hotel. You can also have a rather spacious room with nice tin shui wai park view.

Old furnishings, insufficient hotel facilities would damage your expected travel moods

The hotel is cheap yet very far away from city centers. However if you have a one-day tour to Wetland park, lau fu shan, mei po or yuen long's monuments walk, it's good location hotel for you. Yet the furnishing and facilities cannot give you a sense of getaway. If you are expecting nice night lives or cozy room, sorry, not your choice.

The room is cleanThe

The location is bad

There is nothing much in the Tin Shui Wai area, but we cannot expect much from the area, so far it is a nice hotel in the district, close to wetland park and it is far away from the central area, but since it is close to the estate, it will not be a quite resort. The price is good for a stay

Overall, a great hotel! Guest Rating: 9.3

The hotel is great, rooms are huge for Hong Kong Standards. There are good amenities such as the tennis court, gym and the huge pool! Two malls are directly beside the hotel and is an advantage. There's a big Park n Shop in one of the malls and it is in this shop that I get my supplies. Very convenient. Hotel service and its staff are also very efficient. You also have a kitchenette in your room!

Location is very essential. The hotel is quite far and taking the train from the hotel to Tsim Sha Tsui takes about 50 minutes and 3 train transfers. This is the only weak part of the hotel. They do however have a bus service which equally takes the same amount of time without the hassle of transferring from one train to another.

Overall, Harbour Plaza Resort City is nice! It is away from the very hectic Hong Kong areas and hotel amenities and services are really up to par! The pricing is great and I would definitely stay here again. I don't mind the 50 minute travel time from the hotel to TST and Kowloon.

Restaurant Tip : Adjacent to Park and Shop in the mall is a shop selling cheap and good microwaveable meals! I suggest for you to get these meals for snacking or as main meals! They're good and cheap: Ranging from HKD6 to HKD15!

The location is a bit far from the city. No ABF included.

The hotel room is quite spacious and clean. If you like to get away from the business, try here.

Excellent facilities, cozy room, great breakfast.

Location is not that satisfying.

I find the room in this hotel to be one of the most comfortable hotel rooms I have ever stayed in during my journey in Hong Kong. It is warm, cozy, sweet even equipped with basic kitchen stuff to offer you the smell of home. The sofa is soft when I sit in front of the TV after a long-day trip. That is really cool. The hotel offers you free breakfast in the morning, which is really considerate counting the fact that the hotel does not cost that much.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The surrounding is a little bit quiet since the hotel is not centrally located. The hotel has shuttle bus to take you to some major attraction points or shopping center. It is convenient only with the fact that it costs you time to get to your destination.

it has free internet

is very far from all... absolutly all

The employees of the hotel are very nice, it is near to a market, and has a lot of stores in the building and a food court. The offered breakfast is excellent and has a very vast variety of tasty food. They have a tour desk that would make the impossible for the client and will make any arrangement you need.

We liked almost everything the hotel, the staff were great and extremely helpful, the lifts were fast and worked, we needed help with the room safe and this was fixed before I got back to the room. Great

Having the walk from Tower 1 to the pool - but that is just being picky - it really was not a problem.

We had been told that the hotel was far from anywhere, difficult to get to etc. Well we were able to use the hotel shuttle to Tsimshatshui (?) for a very reasonable cost and it took about 30 minutes. So we had the pleasure of a lovely hotel - with a huge room, in very pleasant surroundings, without the hassle of "living" in town!! Lovely area, good shops - tried the local centres too - good parks, plenty to do.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hong Kong Wetlands - got to be the best value, and we really did get to see birds, fish, animals etc. Dining - Restaurants in the shopping centre and Dim Sum in the Tower 1 upstairs restaurant. They give you a chart and you point out what you would like. Copy what others are eating if it looks good.

Spacious, well appointed rooms for a low price.

The transportation time into the city (Hong Kong/Kowloon) takes atleast 45 minutes.

If you want a large (by Hong Kong standards!), well appointed room (incl. kitchen) at a low price- The Harbour Plaza Resort City is the place to stay... BUT, make sure you're not in a hurry to get into Hong Kong or Kowloon, because it's never less than a 45 min. drive. This hotel is located in the New Territories and there's not much to see out there, so if you want to be where the action is, don't stay here!

The best points of the hotel were the room and the very nice and sweet staff. Very good service, thank you.

The only weakness was the bar. It closes too early.

I stay at the Harbour plaza resort city hotel from the 14 to 17 Oct. 2008. I was very happy to be a guest at this wonderful hotel with such nice and sweet staff. The room was big and bright, and the service at this hotel was very good. I will tell all my family and friends if they visit Hong Kong they have to stay at this hotel. And if I come back to Hong Kong I will also stay at this hotel again, that's for sure. Best regards and thank you for a wonderful stay. from bjarne hornboel from silkeborg denmark

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Wetland park near the hotel.

Quality service, friendly staff, and a relaxing atmosphere.

A more frequent shuttle bus service is recommended.

Though it is located in a remote area, the facilities around (including a shopping mall with supermarket) are more than enough, at least for a few days stay. It took me about an hour to get there from Kowloon East, but the traffic is smooth and direct. Superior rooms are recommended, which give you a sense of the suite. Especially when you book a room through Agoda, the cost came as a surprise to me.
