Harbor Plaza - Yuen Long HK
Many accessories - usually find in finer hotels.
safe, laundry services, internet, roomy, high-tech gadgets, cooking facilities, refrigator, electrical range and hood and etc.

The view is great and convenient to airport and the rest of the city. really enjoy the stay.

Good points:
Very spacious room
Complete amenties except for the small TV with very few watchable english channels (water heater, microwave, ref, cooking stove)
Very nice bed (almost king sized)
Very nice location for the last day on vacation as it's near mall (Kingswood Ginza) and right in the middle of Ginza Square/Tin Sha Wui Park-very convenient for cheaper food outside of hotel/convenience stores like 7-11
wi-fi available but only in the hotel lobby
passable English speaking receptionists
very nice fitness gym with modern italian fitness equipment
Bad points:
the hotel is located in the quiet part of hongkong and hence, location is okay only on the last day when you have to rest before flight after visiting the major attractions-BUT TOO FAR AWAY from Kowloon/Hongkong even is using MTR/LTR where the great attractions are located/shopping bargains are and hence, not advisable for senior members of group (like our old folks) who may get too tired of constant, non-stop walking
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The only major attraction close to the hotel is the hongkong wetlands but that too we were not able to visit as the hotel is too far away from the HK Metro where all the other major attractions are (HK Space Museum, Avenue of the Stars, Peak, Shopping centers) and we ended up taking much of our travel time commuting/walking using the MTR. The MTR is a convenient way to go around but would leave you too tired with the non-stop walking from one point to another and in switching trams to get you to the place that you want if you're hotel is this far.
The next time we visit HK we will make sure that we book a hotel close within Kowloon or Hongkong Islands but not this far.

If your looking for a hotel that is far from the hustle and the bustle of downtown Hong Kong with a good price tag to boot - this is it!
I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel! However the internet was still at a sir charge which can get very annoying...
Shopping Tip:
If you want to get the really cheap goods, go to the mainland! Shenzhen is the best place to shop!

This hotel had very nice staff that was very helpful. Also they had free internet in the lobby which was great compared to other hotels in Hong Kong. There are huge rooms available with really big queen beds and a couch that converts to a second queen size bed. Overall I think it was a good value

Hotel is good, but the service have to impove

Overall the hotel is clean and room is comfortable. But only the service have to improve a little more. The people working in the front desk is not that helpful. But people working in the business centre was so good to me and the cleaning lady was very warm. When I checked out that day, she meet me in the lift and she asked me how was the trip. And asked me come back again. That's made me feel a little bit better.

Quiet and Good Price
Many difference kind of restaurants in the shopping mall and near by the hotel. Food are good and lower price compare in town.

The Harbour Plaza Hotel is very quiet, their staffs are very kind and friendly. Room is very clean and big enough. There are also some shopping malls near by, including cinima & restaurant, and parking fee is very cheap too. Only the hotel location is far away from down town but transportation is also convenience. Countryside signseeing is good too. I will book this hotel again when come to Hong Kong
Restaurant Tip:
One big Chinese restaurant called Yeung Shing restaurant services very good foods with low price, especially Chinese Dim Sum.

Highly recommeded
It is far from downtown HK, but if you are familiar with the various forms of transportion, you can overcome this nicely and cheaply. Reception has a printed info for airport shutter, bus to many places, and a green mid bus to the Shenzhen border for only HK$7.50 with very high frequency. Hotel is good with most neccessities, WIFI is free on lobby for clients, ask for a password. Shopping mall is next door, and bus terminal is only 300 m away, this is closer than the old one 5 years ago, which was demolished for highrise development. I stayed here 4 times during the last 6 years. Reception is helpful, service is very good.

This is a hotel living up to its rating of 4 stars, but with 3 star price. It room is as big as many 5 star HK hotels. With a small expense, you can reach downtown HK and the China border passes, and the airport. Air quality is much better than downtown for sure. Highly recomended.

Perfect in my opinion! Super wonderful 4-star hotel, clean and wonderfully large room with bath-tub, fridge (hidden inside a cabinet), safe (inside the clothes cabinet), very delicious buffet breakfast (although not included in this Agoda booking, but only costs HK78.00 + 10% service charge), super value for a wonderful and tasty variety! The only not-so-good point should be the distance as mentioned, but use the bus routes to get you to the City/ Airport/ tourist spots easily.. Highly recommended!

979 - A Double-decker Air-con Bus that Gets you straight to Causeway Bay and the Central (shopping District), and allows you to change to either 90, 97, 41B to Ocean Park; 15 to Victoria Peak; 66 to Stanley Market etc. Super convinent and user friendly bus network.
KCR (Ginza Station) - Ok, this is a little tough.. I took some time to understand the network, but here i'll try to explain; Route 706 gets you straight to the Tin Shui Wai MTR station for further transfer to MTR to almost everywhere (free if you use the MTR first and then tranfer to the KCR, provided the fee is not exceeding HK3.70) 705 gets you to a nice place called 'Tin Heng' for nice and cheap food. 751 gets you to 'Yuan Liang', another shopping district with many stuff to buy; might be even better than TST itself!
