I booked this hotel at the last minute and did not have any idea where I am staying when arrived to KL. To my surprise, hotel is the the decent one. Upon arrival late in the evening I checked in with no particular problems. Reception is on the 14th floor, so I left luggage with the bell boy downstairs and it has been delivered to the room. Room was clean. TV channels selection was a bit odd, but I guess it can be said about any hotel in this part of the world. I have asked for an additional instant coffee pouch and they wanted to charge me to it, so I refused. Hotel was overcrowded, I had to wait in line to get breakfast and waiter got so busy that I had to ask few times for coffee, which I never gotten. Food was not bad, but there were too much people at the restaurant so I left. Location is good and convenient for shopping and city center access.

All in all, an excellent value and a very pleasant stay. I would definitely consider staying at Harbor Plaza next time I visit Hong Kong.
- Restaurant Tip : Everything in the vicinity of the hotel shuts down pretty early in the evening. There's 7-Eleven nearby that's open 24 hours. If they don't have what you need, get a taxi and go to Yuen Long where there seems to be more of a "night life" - including some restaurants that are open till quite late (including a 24-hour McDonalds).

Harbour Plaza Resort City Hong Kong is good for those arriving from Shenzhen Airport. You can take the buses to the Shenzhenwan Border and go to the hotel by mini buses or taxi. The room is clean and spacious, and the staff are friendly. The only thing is that it's too far away from town and the corridor lighting on each floor is off during the night, making it a bit dangerous.
Clean and good service.
Too far away from town

Hotel staff are not familiar with the bus routes in the neighborhood.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : For people who plan to travel to Hong Kong Island (ex: Central or Causeway Bay) by bus from the hotel, you might want to take the bus (#969) from the bus stop in front of the two towers (hotel) and not from the bus terminal next to tower 1. This can save you some time since the bus starts from the bus terminal, circulates in the neigborhood and goes back to the hotel (in front of the tower 1 and tower 2) before heading to the highway.
