Nice clean rooms and very helpful hotel staff. Hotel is centrally located in Kowloon District. The hotel is centrally located in the Kowloon District. It is very near the MTR stations so commuting is very convenient. The rooms are nice and clean and the hotel staff are equally very courteous and helpful.The concierge was most helpful in giving out information needed and was kind enough to make restaurant reservations for us since language can be a barrier at times.

Hawkers outside - lack of cosy atmosphere excellent location for the local shops and MTR. Recommend you up grade to exec floor. Rooms are clean and have usual facilities. Service was good and staff attentive. There are better hotels, but this is fine and you get what you expect.

The hawkers outside on street are a big pain. If you get a good deal then a good hotel within excellent location for the local shops and MTR. Recommend you up grade to exec floor. Rooms are clean and have usual facilities. Service was good and staff attentive. There are better hotels, but this is fine and you get what you expect.

Chain hotel. convenient location, clean rooms, nicely refurbished. good food . great pool at rooftop. hotel did not clearly specify what their promotion was...& exact costs to the guests. only upon departure , upon presentation of the final bill, did they explain themselves....which was somewhat annoying & unprofessional. The Holiday Inn Golden Mile in Kowloon, is a great hotel. convenient location, hotel's amenities are excellent. good food in their buffet restaurant, beautiful rooms . great pool on rooftop. great service & choices in the executive lounge's breakfast, happy hour . only shortcoming was the less than upfront explanation of their promotion, costs to the guest. etc...

Great housekeeping staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay from May 1 - 10, 2009! HI Golden Mile is such a convenient hotel; it is located in the middle of the busiest shopping/eating area. Even though there is no 'view' from the room, the accommodations were excellent. I was in the deluxe room with a king size bed and it was just perfect. My home-away-from-home for 9 days was super. The hotel staff -from the front office to housekeeping to client services personnel - was caring and professional at all times. I would stay at HI Golden Mile again!
Shopping Tip : This hotel is ideal for shopping and eating! The location is excellent! Restaurants and shops are just outside your doorstep!

very near the MTR (Exit M2) I'd been used to living this hotel for 3 times, last 3 times that i went to Hongkong. I love the big and clean room there. The officer has high service mind.(Front, Baggage officer,etc.)This hotel is really suitalbe for a family. I absolutely sure that I will return to this hotel again and again.

Check-in and out, real high-speed internet, well equipped mini-bar in the room. Great bar in the hotel with good band. The wall paper in the corridors. Beurk!!! so old and depresive. After 7 days in Korea and 4 days in Taipei, I arrived in the Holiday Inn at 7PM.
Check-in was very nice, the room comfortable, high-speed internet so what else.
The bar. Yes! nice bar for a hotel, great band and quality service from the waiter with a smile.......unusual in HK.
So, stay there for one day or several and enjoy this nice hotel.

Convenient location close to Kowloon Airport Express station, MTR station and all the attractions on Nathan Road including restaurant and shopping. Short walk to Star Ferry. Very busy at night, crowded and many hawkers that pester you upon leaving the hotel. We upgraded to the executive rooms floors and were very impressed with the added features of the club - breakfast, all day coffee/tea and pastries, drinks and dim sum in the evening, big screen T.V.'s and free internet. The room was very nice, big king size bed but the bathroom was very small and impossible for two people to share. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel although it was pricey.

I travel to HK at least once a year and have been doing so for many years. The Holiday Inn Golden Mile has the best location of all the mid price hotels in the area as it is right in the middle of TST, and therefore convenient for absolutely everything. Also great value buffet dinner in the 1st floor restaurant after 9.30pm. Downside is the budget price rooms are very small and the wi fi internet daily charge is far too expensive, you get free wi fi everywhere in Harbour City, and even connecting in any of the local coffee shops through Y5Zone is only HK$39 per WEEK !!!
Restaurant Tip : anyone who doesn't know the area go to 'Knutsford Steps' for a fantastic international choice of lively restaurants, only a 5 minute walk away.

Location is the probably the best thing that I chose this hotel. I could smells cigarette smoke in the reception area of the hotel. I would recommend Holiday Inn Golden Mile to anyone who loves convenience, comfortability, and cleanlinessl. The standard type room is also quite spacious, compared to other hotels in the same location. Moreover, staff are very helpful when asking general questions like directions or places to eat and they didn't seem hestitate to answer our questions. The room is also very clean and has all facilities that you will need.
Restaurant Tip : Tao Heng restuarant, really good food, about 5 min walks from the hotel

location, shopping strip, some pretty good food down the alley there were some touts outside the hotel, i loved the room, was surprised as it was pretty spacious. liked the location very much, hotel breakfast was average. staff were friendly.
only thing that bothered me was some people hanging outside the hotel selling some affordable products.
