Modern hotel with spacious rooms, central location
Spacious rooms (more like 1-bedroom suite than standard room), great bathroom, modern furnishings, firm bed, clean rooms, great value for money!

really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. the staff are very professional at the reception, and housekeeping kept everything spic and span. it's amazing to find rooms this spacious and new in hong kong - it's almost a 1-bedroom suite! very well-laid out space. 2 flat screen tvs, one for the living room area and another in the bedroom. i personally liked the bed because it was so firm (though some might comment that the mattress is too hard.)
the showers were one of the best features of the room, very luxe, modern, and good sized. toiletries were nice (though they charge for extra)
there's even a microwave with plates and utensils in case you prefer to bring food in. the hotel also provides ample drinking water (2 portable bottles which you can carry out for the day + a 1l bottle for refilling).
Hotel Feature Tip:
as the nearest mtr (sheung wan) is a bit of a walk with luggage, just hop onto a taxi from either central (if coming from the airport) or sheung wan. it's pretty cheap and easy to get to.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There's a trolley on the street right behind the hotel, an easy and kind of fun way to get to the busier part of the island.

only 5 mins to sheng wan station , 10 mins to macau ferry terminal and 3 mins to tram station.
they gave me a free upgrade , and i could get a living room and 1 more single bed.
the next street is hollywood street, so u can look around hk traditional goods.
if u walk along the hollywood street, u can see a manmo temple & keep waling the street u can see mid-level escalator. it takes only 15 mins.
wifi is free and speed is sooooo quick!!
highly recommend.

Great area and not far from transport

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. They upgraded my room and were always helpful with anything I needed. The train stations were not too far which gave an opportunity to look at the shops in this area. Breakfast was good and lasted for a while so you didn't have to get up early. Checkout time was excellent although general knowledge of local places needs to be expanded but they did direct me to places that would know.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Big budda is a must as well as the Victoria lookout although you don't need to purchase extra to go to the top of the lookout as the hotel next door also has a rooftop for free.

Modern Hotel

My daughter and I stayed at Hotel LBP last month and
we enjoyed our stay at the sheungwan area. Hotel LBP upgraded our room to a business suite and we were very happy with the suite. It had complimentary water, coffee and even drinks for us to take. The hotel also offered complimentary breakfast which we enjoyed. We chose Hotel LBP at the sheungwan area because it is just located a few steps from my other daughter's condominium. Its just that the hotel is far from the MTR station, but very close to the tram ride, about 3 minute walk down to the tram.

Hotel LBP is a great place to stay in Hong Kong. I found the location to be great and really enjoyed Hong Kong Island. The hotel room was more spacious than I was expecting and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was amazing and the soaps/shampoos etc were of a very high quality. Breakfast is basic but enough to get you going for the day. The hotel also provides free snacks and drinks. The staff were friendly enough - helped when needed but did not go out of their way too much. I would definitely stay here again.
