I paid for a "Luxury King" room on the 19th floor. Did not get any upgrade. Quiet neighbourbood. Room was compact but not claustrophobic. The photos you see on agoda are accurate. My window was facing a taller apartment next door, so did not have a good view. A wardrobe next to the bed had a small safe in it. Bathroom amenities were nicely layed out on a platter placed inside the wardrobe. One big and two small bottles of complimentary water were given. Wifi signals and internet speed were good. The TV came with 8 international channels and several local channels (some in HD). I could not view any of the international channels at first, but after calling reception a technical came immediately to fix the problem.
The hotel lobby was located on the 4th floor. A small lounge (where breakfast was served) was also there, and offerred free snacks (potato chips). When first arriving to the hotel entrance on the ground floor, the security will check your name against the hotel guest list before allowing you to take the elevator to the 4th floor. After receiving your room key (a contactless card) you can wave it at the sensor in the elevator to get to your floor.
The hotel was located near Sheung Wan MRT (400m away) and a tram stop (150m) on Des Voeux Rd West. A convenience store was just next door, and a seven-eleven slight further at the end of Queen St. A small food court (Queen St Food Centre) opposite the seven-eleven had local, indian and thai food at relatively cheap prices.

Stayed here 2 nights and thought that the hotel provided excellent service and facilities. The room was small but this is to be expected in HK. Overall fantastic value for money.

the lbh hotel has a certain self -conscious stylishness about it that will probably appeal to a certain kind of tourist. rooms are small but with everything you need and the same can be said for the breakfast bar which you need to get to quick as seating is very limited unless you want to sit outside. location is close to sheung wan metro station and near tram routes. to me this is an overpriced hotel that charges for its style rather than substance - but some visitors no doubt go for style.

I really enjoyed my stay. I turned up and, after finding my way to the strangely located reception (on the fourth floor!), found only keen and helpful staff. I was offered an upgrade on the top floor, which was basically a mini-apartment with double bed, bathroom (great shower!) and lounge/dining room/mini-kitchen. If I had been there longer, I would have made more use of the space, but as it is I was able to borrow a good selection of films from reception and watch them on my comfortable sofa as if I was back at home. Other highlights included the great toiletries, breakfast and wifi connection. The location also wasn't too bad. It is about a 7 minute walk to the nearest MTR and a 25 minute walk to the Peak Tram. I would definitely recommend the hotel to a friend.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to the Peak Tram early in the morning - unless you want to queue up for anything up to 3 hours!

We stayed at the LBP for 5 nights during Chinese New Year february 2013. The hotel is quite nice the room is small by north american standards but quite adequate for Asian standards.
The staff are very polite and extremely helpful, the area around the hotel is brimming with cool gallerys and bars and restaurants, of course almost everything was closed during the new years period.
At any other time of year the area is amazing because you are a short walk from Hollywood rd. and the very trendy Soho area.
Because of the time of year we paid a higher price than usual but it was still worth it.
The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the Sheung Wan MTR station.

Compact and not too far from MTR

Easily connected to city center and all attractions by 5 mins to Shueng Wan MTR, 1 station frm Central. Compact/valuable/affordable.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It's not located right at the shopping/business area or surrounded with the top attractions. But you can live in a serene area that you can hardly find in Hong Kong downtown. It's only 5 mins to Shueng Wan MTR and just 1 station from Central.
