Lounge is totally not worth it. When I was there several guests entered the lounge and left immediately. Seating is limited and not comfortable. Poor service.
Nightlife Tip:
Nightlife is on Hong Kong Island not Kowloon

Enough space,impatient hotel staff, expensive rate

The room was okay but when we avail our 7 day internet although we will only stay there for 3 days, no one informed us when we were inquiring that the 1st 2 units we used to log on are only the units we can use for browsing and nothing else. So we did try logging in others although of course it was unsuccessful because we already reach the max. It was ok. But the sad thing was, when i was trying to connect in the internet using my laptop ( which i used to register internet access), the password was not working anymore. And when we called to the front desk they were telling us to pay again for internet worth hkd 250. Which i think is unfair! We only just access the internet for about 10 mins and because of their password error we have to pay again. And when we argued over the phone because i insisted not to pay again the manager came to our room and accuse us that we are lying that's why my mom even told them we have two rooms in their hotel why we have to cheat over that internet. So my mom dared him to check and he found out that the problem is with them. So he waived the 1st charge and gave us another password. But he never apologized for what had happened. For a 5 star hotel i think its not worth it but we had no choice we stayed for 3 nights.
Shopping Tip:
There is peninsula mall in front but better in regal kowloon nearer in shopping mall and mtr and other restaurants like burgoo starbucks etc

I used to stay in renassience hotel when I travel in hong kong. My first impression to hotel nikko was woow.... Front desk and conceige are very helpful and professional. The room are very nice.
The location is pretty good too, althought it located in the tourist area but you won't feel too busy there cause the hotel located in the quite side. Only 10 seconds walk to the closest bars and shopping area, 5-10mins walk to the subway and train station. Also there is a few museum close to the hotel which is a very good chance get to know about hong kong culture, I especially like the space museum where close to the fery port.
After a few nite staying there, I decided to stay there while I had business trip in hong kong.
Well done hotel nikko.

Nice hotel a bit outdated

We had booked 2 rooms at the Nikko Hotel for 3 nights to spend the New Year with my family and overall the impression was very good. The staff and level of service was very efficient and very friendly. The only comment that I have to make is that the hotel in my opinion is a little bit outdated and needs refurbishment. Especially the bathroom in the room was old although very clean. The location of the hotel was just perfect only minutes walking from the waterfront. The shuttle bus that the hotel offered to the Harbour mall was also very convenient. We enjoyed our stay at the Nikko Hotel.

Room Upgraded but no View as promise

After sending out our request among with the booking, our request seemed to be totally disregarded.
Upon our arrival, we got upgraded to the executive suite but it was located at the rear of the corridor which we emphasized in our request not to send us to that kind of rooms.
When arriving in the room, we immediately called for changing rooms but we were told that this room has the best view which is not.
Generally speaking it is ok but the sofa in the living room is really very uncomfortable, really not cozy enough to sit on.
Anyhow, i have seen and tried Nikko and I think that will do.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. It has a great location - in the Tsim Sha Tsui shopping and dining area. Restaurants, pubs, shopping malls are all within walking distance.
