Very clean room with good view; Sky Garden with fantastic view; sleek TV; comfy bedroom slippers; room temperate/lighting controls on both side of the bed

Small shower area; Distance to MTR; No direct access to lobby

Upon check-in,we were given a complimentary upgrade from Gold Deluxe room(US$146/night) to Platinum guestroom. I wanted a room with a nice view and I wasn't disappointed. From 27th floor, I can view the HK skyline and harbour from the floor to ceiling windows. The Sky Garden on the 40th floor promises all guests a fantastic view of HK. You can bring a drink up to relax on their nice sofas and enjoy the breeze. While the hotel is near to a MTR exit, we still have to walk a distance to get to the trains/MTR station. The hotel entrance/collection of luggage is on the ground floor and we have to take a lift to the first floor to get to the lobby. When it's busy at the gound floor, some guests did not know how to get to the lobby. The shower area is a little small for a big built person. As I female, I find it ok. The good thing is they have a bath tub which allows you to take a shower in it too. Service wise - the hotel staff ran to the main road to get a taxi for us so we almost did not need to wait.

Location is great. Nice amount of storage in the room and bathroom. Room safe that's big enough for a laptop. Friendly staff that speak many languages. Non-smoking floors.

The doors that connect rooms don't block sound very well. Not a problem unless you have a screaming child next door.

The location of Hotel Panorama is absolutely amazing! It's only a 1 to 2 minute walk from the subway (Tsuen Wan Line and East Rail Line) and 10 minutes from the Star Ferry. It's right around the corner from many restaurants and bars and only minutes from shopping on Nathan Street. The beds are pretty firm and the standard room is a little small, but still perfectly comfortable for 2 people (there was quite a bit of storage in the room and bathroom). The shower was a little cramped, but the height of the shower head is adjustable. So tall people shouldn't have to duck. We only ate breakfast at the hotel on our last day, but it was tastey (although pretty expensive). I wouldn't recommend trying to get to the hotel from the airport using the subway unless you are familiar with all of the exits (not stops, but the actual exits from the subway station) since the hotel is in a bit of a confusing spot. Once you get used to the area, it's easy to find your way around. So you could take the subway from the hotel to the airport with little trouble. But beware of traveling with luggage during rush hour. It's very crowded and there's not much room for anything except people! Also, there's quite a bit of walking in between rail lines, so be prepared to carry your stuff for a while. I would definitely stay at Hotel Panorama again and recommend it to anyone.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Get an Octopus card so you can travel on public transportation easily. You can pick one up at any customer service desk in the subway.

Location is excellent. Close to MTR station and the heart of Tsim Tsa Shui. Plenty of bars and restaurants within 5 minute walk

Taxi drivers dont know where the hotel is. Best to keep a hotel card or tell them to heasd for Mody Rd. Service levels are average. Rhombus floor food choice is limited. Platinum room is smaller than Gold

I have stayed at hotel Panorama on four occasions. This time we decided to upgrade to stay in a Platinum room having always stayed in superior deluxe. We were very disappointed with the room and immediately requested a downgrade in rooms. No refund of the difference and then charged for a late check-out even though this was requested earlier. How they can justify a higher rate for a smaller room is beyond me. Stay in Superior Gold as it is better value and save your money on the room and breakfast/club lounge and enjoy some of the local foods just outside your door.

Hotel Feature Tip : Stay in a Superior Gold room for best value.

Good view above floor 18. Rooms looked OK and eveything functioned alright. The staff was polite and professional although not necessarily warm. The location of the hotel is good. The best thing about the hotel is a the Sky Garden on the 40th Floor and the amazing views of the HK skyline. Lots of shops nearby - 7/11, restaurants, etc.

Any room below floor 17 is a waste of money - absolutely horrible view. It seemed to me that the staff was waiting for me to pay additional money to move to a higher floor. Ultimately, I paid extra per night to move to the 30th floor. Once on that high floor, the view was totally spectacular - not much in the world can beat that view. The hotel entrance is a bit shady. The street was as good or bad as a back alley in one of the big cities. The staff was decent but did nothing to go out of the way to help us. I would call them professional more than warm.

One of the best views in Hong Kong above floor 18. Good hotel overall and the ambience was just fine. Nothing spectacular about the rooms but they looked OK and eveything functioned well. The staff was polite and professional although not necessarily warm. The location of the hotel is good. We walked to the Ave of Stars, TST promenede, Nathan Road which are some of the hoteest places to see in HK. The best thing about the hotel is a the Sky Garden on the 40th Floor and the amazing views of the HK skyline. In fact, you could catch the Symphony of Lights show from the sky garden too (although catching it from the Ave of Stars is a different experience altoghter). Rooms on the small side,no bath and no pool.

Overall we were very happy with most of the amenities provided. As I said earlier although the room was a bit on the small side it had everything we required except a bath. The standard of cleanliness was outstanding and the efficiency of the staff was excellent. All in all no complaints.

All pros about our stay at this hotel. Central, clean, quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel room. Staff were very, very helpful. I was glad that I'd read some earlier reviews otherwise we wouldn't have known about the little laundry across the road from the hotel - it was great to come home with clean clothes. And the MRT is just around the corner, and Star Ferry five minutes away

The food in the lobby restaurant wasn't spectacular, although the Sky Lounge was spectactular and the food looked great, although a bit expensive. Also, there was no real lobby - no nice sitting area.

I am a senior and travelled with my much younger daughter - she enjoyed the shopping, I enjoyed the culture and there was plenty for us to share or to enjoy separately. Visit to the giant Buddha at Lantau Island is a must.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Amazing public transport system in Hong Kong, as well as very cheap taxis - all our drivers were OK. We decided not to take organised tours but to go places ourselves using public transport and this worked out so much cheaper and more flexible.

The views, location, service, room service and room size.

No real weaknesses except we left a gift on the floor in Room 3012

We found Hotel Panorama on the internet and were very pleased with the cost. Suprised when we arrived to see the high quality of the room and the A++ views over Hong Kong harbour. Location is very central to most attractions plus access to the MTR. Compared to others Hotel Panorama provided more... Breakfast service was top class. Thanks.

Shopping Tip : Hotel Panorama is walking distance to all the major bargain shopping areas of Kowloon, Hong Kong

Amazing service and a buffet to die for!

Small, very standard hotel room

This hotel really grew on me throughout my holiday. At first I was surprised as it does not have a very grand entrance or street presence. Once inside though, the service and hospitality was first class. The food was exceptional. I also became quite happy with its position as it is quite central in Kowloon to most major streets.

Hotel Feature Tip : The non smoking room still had a strong aroma of cigarette smoke which was a shame so perhaps check on that prior to check in if you feel strongly about it.

Well located, easily accessible, very helpful staff and good service. Nice view of the harbour from Platinum room.

Breakfast restaurant in lobby a bit too crowded in the morning, and there are no windows.

Had the pleasure of trying the Panorama Hotel for 1 night. We were lucky to be upgraded to a Platinum room, which offered a nice view of the harbour, though not completely unobstructed. Rooms very nice, and the lunch buffet offers a very good food selection at a more than reasonable price. In general a very good feeling about this hotel - well located near the metro station. Only minor inconvenience was that the breakfast restaurant was a bit crowded.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take the peak tram to Victoria Peak at night - stunning view!

the hotel panorama by rhombus surrounds with panoramic views of breathtaking Victoria Harbour and the mountains. Welcome to the Hotel Panorama by Rhombus. Also, the prime location in the heart of the city allows you to access all parts of Hong Kong via Railway (MTR), buses, Airport Express, taxis and ferries. Everything is right at your door step.

Views from higher floors, "Bullit" glass elevators, breakfast on 39th floor, did I mention the view?!

Rooms are small

This place does not disappoint. We booked a superior Platinum room, which put us on the 37th floor with a full harbor view. If you're into the views, which is the main thing that sets this hotel apart from the rest in TST, splurge for a Platinum room. The rate included two breakfasts, which are on the 39th floor...more harbor views! You also get to use the Bullit elevators which go direct to the 31st and higher floors. These are glass elevators and face the harbor...wow. The rooms are smallish, but that does not matter, it's new and comfy.

Upgrade room, Executive lounge, View on the top floor.

Long walk to shopping area and MTR

This hotel is a good medium size hotel. The room price is very competitive compare to other hotel around the area. My package is come with breakfast and the breakfast is very good. Service is also very good. I did not bring the voucher from Agoda, but the reception allows me to check in. The view from my room, breakfast room, and the roof area are spectacular. It is over look the Hong Kong Island.

Shopping Tip : Big Shopping area is about 10 min. walk to the east of TST.

Great Hotel. Will remain my first choice for Hong Kong. Close to everything. MTR station is at the doorstep & Star Ferry is walkable. Rooms are very modern. Elevators & Lobby is chic. Staff is friendly & helpful. All amenities in the room & bathroom are very modern. Chose a silver room to view Victoria harbor when you wake up.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Star Ferry is cheap with the best views.
