This hotel has the best service that we have ever experienced, from the moment you arrive you are treated like royalty even if your wearing thongs and shorts.
I liked the rooms in the hotel, which offer good space and with a beautifully bathroom. I will most probably return to the hotel during my next trip. Breakfast is very well organized and offers a greta variety

much cheaper than equivalnet hotels in central/kowloon. travel time to central around 30 minutes.

A good Hyatt with pretty reasonable rates

Overall I would still recommend this hotel although it's a little away from the city centre, the KCR railway stop is just 50 meters from the hotel and Hong Kong public transportation system has excellent connectivity to almost everywhere. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus service from Kowloon station on the Airport Express line as taxis from the airport to the hotel can costs from HKD250-300.
I will go back to this hotel as I like to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Rooms are big to Hong Kong standards. Variety and quality of the food is good too. I hope they won't give me another faulty room this time!

I love staying at the hyatt. The customer service is wonderful. The restaurants have wonderful variety. Something for everyone!
Restaurant Tip:
Make a reservation when you arrive so you don't have to sit too far from the buffet. Also the overflow seats are not very comforatble.

stayed again in this beautifull property, same level of service, as i recd last time, as i booked 5 nights, at the price of single room they give me 1bedroom executive room, which is 81 sqm , very nice room with all the emenities and facilities there,with daily news paper, the mountain view is very good ,check inn and check out are very prompt and not take more than one minute, again this time i must say the house keeping dept is the best, so as always satisfied with hyatt, again will prefer to stay here.
i suggest , while checking inn the staff must inform the guest about the other facilities like pool, gym , breakfast and the other facilities of hotel which is available, with the timmings and thier location, as this is my 2nd stay but still i dont know is there any gym in hotel and where

It is a good leisure hotel with big room and excellent fitness facility and swimming pool.
It is not convenient to do shopping as it is not in the downtown.
It is very unhappy that there is no free wifi area in the hotel.
It is not convenient to go to airport.
The shuttle bus service covered area is not good enough and the car driver service is not good.

i thought the services from everyone in the hotel was great, the attendants in the lobby would go out of their way to ensure we hop on the right taxi for our destination (since hong kong has either green taxis (only for the NT area) or red taxis (everywhere else) ). Each time we needed help from the staff, they were executed promptly. Overall, a really pleasant and comfortable experience, would definitely make Hyatt Regency Shatin my hotel of choice whenever i am in Hong Kong.
