Large rooms, excellent location, fantastic food, friendly customer service. Shopping heaven!!! Received a complimentary upgrade to Harbor view room during our stay. I will definitely return on my next visit to Hong Kong.

you can get everything you expect from a hyatt hotel, excellent in-house recreational facilities to keep guests busy. a bit far from town though. no nightlife, shopping etc, yet close to train station and some big shopping malls are just a few stops away. nice sea view, real surprise in bustling hong kong.

we found a right place just to rest and relax without much activity. no shopping. we do not mind the inconvenience of no usual food in this area. want to have the usual local food? they are either one or two mtr station away from university station. you will be surprise to the items available at these nearby station.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to Tai Po Market which is one MTR station away. Great local surprise to you.

Overall impression of the hotel is good, but one thing they have to improve is the asses to the internet
Great rooms and service. Location is not the greatest but easy access through MTR. Great value for money.
Nice airy rooms, comfortable beds and great bathrooms
The service was exceptional and the staff were helpful, friendly yet professional.

hideaway hotel from the city
quiet secluded surroundings and located next to the railway station

checked in around 3pm and they gave me a room which over looked the river.
bathroom is split by a glass panel in the room
used the gym and the pool, very comfortable and quiet as it is away from city centre.
technogym brand weights machines and the gym overlooks the pool below.
then swam at the pool near dusk time and ordered a drink at the bar. problem with swimming at night are the amount of
there is a smallish jacuzzi pool next to the main pool and the service is great. the pool is sub-divided into a childs pool and the main adult pool.
only problem is that the food is quite expensive.
i initially had a problem using their lifts too as the floors are only accessible by the use of the room card.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
there is no nightlife nearby unless you get to tsim sha tsui on the train. However if you are interested in watersports or outdoor exercise, then it would be good to go to Sai Kung.

i was a guest to the wedding at this hotel... so the night stay at the same hotel was very convenient. Drink as much as you want without worrying how to get home.

3 star price for 5 star room in Hong Kong

location is weakness but transportation is convinence in hong kong, take about 20mins rail to reach the shopping spots, mongkok or tsim sha tsui. only 5 mins to shatin city centre with a big shopping mall.
enough area in room. the tub is nice and comfortable.
the cake shop in lobby is okay. the chinese cuisine in shatin 18 is nice and popular especially the roasted duck.

2. got upgraded to habourview, so stunning views away from the city.
3. next to major expressway, but it wasnt noisy. no cab horns like nyc, or in the city in hk.

lovely area next to window for contemplation, and relaxation.
right next to university stop. which means at least 40 minutes from the city, but i love taking trains, so. :)
