The only place worth staying in New Territories HK
Everything you would expect from a Hyatt Regency

You only stay here if you have reason to; visiting family, friends, the university or to relax away from the city.
If you need to be in NT, or to be near enough to travel to SZ, this is the best option and it is worth the money. You get what you would expect from a Hyatt Regency but is affordable.
A fantastic pool and you forget you are in HK.

Great hotle
big room and great view over Tolo Channel

rooms are very large and have a great view over tolo channel, everythign clean and in good working order, tv set so you can only listen to it quietly - good so it doesn't dsturb room next door, but so quiet you can barely hear it.

we took the club room and it was clean and comfortable. the bedding is exceptional.... just simply great. loved the free breakfast at the club floor. great value for the price.
Nightlife Tip:
We loved the quite but some may find very boring because there is nothing near the hotel.

I enjoy staying at the Hyatt because it is a clean, up to date, hotel that allows me to visit with friends while I am in town. The hotel location is fantastic for travellers coming from Mainland China. It is located on the old KCR line. I enjoy staying at the Hyatt in Shatin!
Restaurant Tip:
Love the restaurants in the Hyatt. I had a group of friends over my first night and we had a lovely time at the buffet on the ground floor. It is good to make a reservation since the hotel is used by locals as much as tourists.

the room i was in is big by hk standard, with sofas, large coffee table n desk with leather chair.the bed is very comfortable! unfortunately no free wi fi within hotel premises. travelling to hk island n kowloon takes quite a bit of time!
Shopping Tip:
there is a train station near the hotel. convenient if u intend to go to shen zhen for shopping - about 20 mins to reach hk immigration. there is a big shopping centre 2 stops by train in shatin. however, it's a little far to go to main shopping area in tsim sha tsui.

Great stay at a wonderful hotel

we used the hotel as a base for traveling to see family and friends - so we didn't get to use the hotel facilities which was a shame as i would have like to have stayed longer at the hotel to do so. the service was great - friendly, fast and efficient.
