Efficient, courteous and cheerful service. Clean, new, good sized rooms. Nice modern gym which opens 24/7, so I could get my exercise even after coming back late. Small swimming pool. Reasonably fast and free in-room wifi. MTR entrance right outside hotel door (although the actual train platforms - TST and EastTST - are a good 10-minute walk away. The train from airport ends at Kowloon station and a free shuttle took us directly to the hotel, saving taxi fare and the effort of lugging our luggage around! The harbour is a 15-minute walk away so its quite convenient getting around. Breakfast buffet was so so although the Saturday night dinner buffet was very good and worth the money. There are many eating shops nearby so food not a problem even late at night.

I am a bit surprised this hotel has been ranked as a 5-star one. Other than the location, there’s nothing worth giving credits.
For all the other 5-star hotels I’ve stayed at, they at least put one hotel-branded ballpen in the room as souvenir to guests, however there is none in the Hyatt Regency HK, when I asked for one at the front desk, the front desk agent was not very hospitable and not polite either, she gave me an used one.
At the same time, inside the room, the layout is lack of due consideration, for example, there is only one pic of body towel in the room, and there is no trash bin near to the toilet.
There is apparently a lot of room for improvement for this “5-star” hotel.

We stayed for two nights and although it was a comfortable stay, we couldn't help but compare the hotel to the Langham Place where we stayed the two nights before. It sadly didn't measure up. The best things about this hotel are the friendliness of the staff and the excellent location next to the K-11 Mall. If you're not willing to pay the ridiculously high prices to be found on the menu of the Hugo restaurant, you have a few great options in the mall next door!
