The reception is on the 5th floor. For us as an old couple(+70yrs) it would be nice to have a porter to help us. It is good for the younger and healthy couple. The room was small but just nice with us having to move around in the room. The bathroom is well designed, with the bathroom door also also serving as the toilet door. The room though shoe box size has a nice bench by the window. Good design. Love the tram line just outside the hotel.

excellent location, a short walk from Sheung wan metro & close to the tram stop, a 20 minute walk from the ferry terminals, a very well designed and arranged new hotel with all facilities and friendly staff, good buffet breakfast, comfortable rooms with wifi, all facilities well designed & new, cheap for Hong Kong (but getting more expensive).

arrived to find no services, no food available and was referred to the convenience store near the hotel. Reception staff were pleasant. Quite expensive for what you get. Overpriced - even for Hong Kong.

We enjoyed our stay at Ibis HK. Everything is new and clean. The room and bathroom were of a good size for a big-city hotel. Tram right in front of hotel for easy access to HK and subway. Free shuttle to/from HK subway station. Cons: beer was expensive at the bar and we never could remember which elevators go to the ground floor.
