Like all Ibis room was compact but effectively arranged. There's a nice local cafeteria with superb congee just across the street. Tram and bus stop just out of the hotel, MTR shengwan station is 5 to 7mins walk.

Colourful with relaxing ambience hotel

We got two(2) rooms and the hotel staff was helpful enough to ensure that our rooms are side by side.. My kids love their rooms specially the free wifi (that's what we love most) not like in Disney hotel view is good but the only problem is that the nearest MTR station is a little bit far for the kids. Starbucks in the lobby of the hotel was a plus too..

conveniently located close to MTR, quick 5 min walk to local eateries. bohemian stores next to traditional hong kong shops just up the hill(about 15 mins walk). starbucks is just on the ground floor. easy to get around. excellent efficient service. clean and quiet rooms

The Ibis hotel is about 10 minutes away from the subway station by foot. The location is very nice because there are many points of interest nearby such as the Foreign Market, the ferry terminal, Central and Soho.
The check-in counter is a bit slow but that's the only negative.
If you are looking for a clean, adequately sized good value this hotel is a good choice.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Like much of Hong Kong, there is no shortage of great places to eat and shop around this hotel.

Impressive Hotel for its price and location
helpful and polite staff, boutique feel, new, clean, feels safe

Pros:
Hotel is very clean and new
The Ibis red and white theme fit the hotel decor very nicely
Very spacious for the price
Option to use fixed shower head or handheld shower head
mattress is thick and comfortable
Starbucks on the ground floor to chill out after a hectic day
conveniently located new dried food wholesaler market
7-eleven-like convenience store just downstairs the hotel without the hotel markup rates
Cons:
This is just me nitpicking because there is nothing really much to criticize.Some of the lifts do not go direct to the ground floor,you have to go to the lobby on level 5 and change to level 1
Add-on breakfast is rather costly
