Convenient, 1 minute from metro and buses. Airport bus stops outside door. Clean. Friendly staff. Cheap restaurants nearby. Good value

Rooms small, not much luggage storage.

I liked the convenience of the hotel, it is very close to public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and rooms well serviced. If you are looking for a good value hotel convenient to the centre of town this is it. The rooms are small and if you have a lot of luggage it would be a struggle to fit it in the room.

Restaurant Tip : Restaurant 2 minutes from hotel has breakfasts at only US$3 and evening meals at very reasonable prices.

Cheap, the sea view Ok

the environment is out-of-date

Ibis hotel so fart ok, the price matched with the quality. The sea view is Ok, but the environment is out-of-date. And there is no facilities in the hotel.

Very convenient location, just a stone throw from the North Point MTR station, fantastic panorama harbor sea view, clean room, bed and towels and friendly hotel staff services.

Small size room, but acceptable, considering the reasonable price offered.

For visitors to Hong Kong looking for a budget hotel room, I strongly recommend IBIS North Point. It is good value for money compared with other low price hotels and guest houses. I read both the pros and cons comments about IBIS North Point when making my reservation, but the hotel facilities turned out to be much higher than my expectation. Above all, I find the North Point area where the hotel is located not too crowded compared to other central locations in Hong Kong. Restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets and transportation are all readily available around the area.

Restaurant Tip : Plenty of good Cantonese restaurants, noodle shops, roast duck, pork and chicken rice casual dining outlets, etc.

cheap, simple but nice room, easy transportation.

Keep it the Bed really Clean. Change the blanket and bed sheet everyday. * I feel very itchy and my arms appeared red marks when I was sleeping without long sleeve.

The overall of this hotel is not bad and I didn´t expect too much from it because of the price. Small but simple nice room. The bed sheet and blanket need to be changed. The food is average and not much choices. Overall services are not bad and the setting of the location is good and easy.

very convenient, tidy

nothing to see in the vinicity

it's hard to find a decent budge hotel in hong kong.. but ibis north point hotel offers what a budget traveller wants to have.. in general, it's a bit smaller than other ibis in other countries.. this is the only drawback of ibis north point... but it should be fine for budget travellers who don't expect luxurious service from a budget hotel..

convenient location next to the MTR station, fast check in and check out service

room is really small and only 2 lifts

good for budget traveller cos it's pretty cheap with perfect location. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice HK-style restaurants around. But facilities could be improved, it takes quite long time to use the lift and the capacity is small. Would stay there again for tight budget and definitely recommend to my friends.

Great price. Easy access, metres from the MTR.

Rooms are cosy and the carpets a little tired.

The Ibis North Point is a real surprise! Access is great. Only meters from the MTR for easy access from the airport express. Yet walk outside and you experience the real Hong Kong. Excellent bakeries and proper Chinese food at local prices. A stones throw away from the North Point tram terminal for a great scenic ride into Central at $2.20.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Use thr tram and enjoy the scenery at a leisurely pace.

nearby to the MTR station and many local eateries. get a harbor view is cheap in Hong Kong. as i did not spend much time in the room, it's just a place for me to sleep and shower. the superior room is really small and do not expect much for the budget inn.

the carpet is dirty and no slipper provided. the only toiletry is soap. lady who wants shower gel, shampoo, body lotion and etc needs to prepare herself.

the harbor view is not bad but room is small. only can fit in 1 suitcase. but the transportation here is very convenient. nearby to MTR station and ding ding tram station.easy to get taxi. can take a bus from airport and reach here directly. price from HKD40-45, take about 45mins at off peak hour. very convenient. nearby a local market which you can see the local living style.海皇粥舖 is a good place for breakfast. should try the 許榴山mango desserts.

the MTR station is just next to the hotel. housekeeping service is efficient.

the carpet is dirty and not toiletry provided.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : 海皇粥舖 is a good place for breakfast. should try the 許榴山mango desserts.永華 at WanCha & 何洪記 nearby TimeSquare,沾仔記 at central have very good the wanton noodle shop.何洪記 & 沾仔記 taste simlar but 沾仔記 is cheaper.the 庸記roasted goose is really good but a bit oily. other dishes also very good. the 澳洲牛奶公司at Jordon is a typical Hong Kong style of restaurant. very crowed and the service is impressive. food was served within 2mins. the food was delicious and cheap. must try the egg sandwich.strongly recommend 澳洲牛奶公司 if you want to try local dish/culture. the afternoon tea at Peninsular Hotel is HKD400 for 2 person. the ambient is very classy, but was a bit disappointed on the food.

Very good location, MTR exit is right beside the hotel.

Very small room, looks old and you can see stains everywhere on the carpet.

Rooms are relatively small and looks pretty old. You can see stains everywhere on the carpet. But very good location and transportation. MTR and bus station are right beside you. The services is fine and the sea view is pretty nice too at the evenings. In general, the hotel condition is OK compared to the price.

It was easy to reach from the airport, by bus. At $40 Hong Kong each, each way, it was cheap and easy. The situation was good. Right next door to the MTR station and a 2 minute walk to the tram. It was relatively inexpensive.

If our room,1610,is a gauge of the standard of the hotel, then it was VERY poor. The carpet was badly marked and appeared dirty and much of the paintwork around the room, was pealing off and was in bad need of repair. There were many areas of the room that needed a good clean. It had grubby marks around all of the edges, especially the bathroom. The staff member on duty when we arrived and when we left, was difficult to understand and was not particularly helpful. Breakfast was poor, much of the food was not hot and the quality was poor. The television was tiny AND did not work. There was no information pack in the room.

We were disappointed with the hotel. We have stayed in Ibis hotels before and this one, came nowhere near the standard we expected. If it has been refurbished recently, then our room was missed! It was well situated for all public transport but we would not recommend it to any of our friends. The pictures of the facilities online, were in our opinion, misleading and showed the hotel to be better than it actually was.. We would not return to it.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Peak tram ride was brilliant.

Very near train station. Great view of harbour from my room. There is an inexpensive restaurant in the hotel. The price of the room was cheap, yet it wasn't a cheap looking hotel and room. Near chinese food restaurants.

As others said the room is small, but I have seen smaller rooms. There was a water mark stain on the wall. But overall the room was clean.

Hotel Feature Tip : Request a non smoking room, as these are on higher floors and you should get a room with a good view.

Room was a available

Location was not convenient, no bottled water included

The staff was friendly, however the location required longer travel on the MTR. The taxi drivers had difficulty finding the hotel even though I gave them the hotel card that had the address in English as well as Chinese as well as a small map. There was no complementry water which is usually provided when in Hong Kong. There was also no secondary door lock which would be nice for security.

Travel tip : Make sure you get better directions for taxi from hotel for return to hotel
