good location near to shopping and eating district
the rooms are a little old. it should be modernized. views on the standard rooms are bad
The location is great. The entrance and lobby are a little bit small. However the rooms are quite big. comfortable for more than two people. A family is suitable for this hotel. How ever, the rooms are quite old fashion. If they renovated into an eclectic style, mixing the old and new, it would appeal to be more attractive. The channels in the rooms are diverse.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : great shopping great food

smelly old carpets, rude staff, delays in check in (45 minutes!)
The reviews I used to make my decision was generous to say the least. No second time.

Great service, very clean, high standard.
Great hotel with personal attention from all the staffs. GOod size room with all the comforts and amenities of a 5 stars hotel. Room, bath, lobby restaurant and all areas are immaculately clean.
Close to nice restaurants in front of the harbor and 5 min walk to shops. The hotel is good for single travelers couples and family both for business and leisure.
Nightlife Tip : Best place to hang around at night is LAI KWAN FONG, in HK side, where you will find lots of bars, retaurants and a few clubs.

everything is good.... location, facilities, .... amazing service
no free wifi, no free breakfast....
hotel has the amazing view of the hong kong skyline and there no other words to describe the service that we had.... everything was just good... compare to cambodia.. or other places we being too. well worth the money... but arrange in time to get a room with a view... its worth every penny.
Hotel Feature Tip : get the asian breakfast for some dim sum and connjeee

- Harbour view
- Location
Although newly decorated it is a rather old hotel Bathrooms are too small for the price of the room with shower in bathtub. View of harbour is nice ofcourse but unless I can get a better deal (like breakfast and internet included), I would stay elsewhere.

Great Location in Kowloon. Access to Metro and Ferry and good shopping areas.
Recently renovated hotel. Great views from the rooms. Had booked City Suite as ther were many business appointments. Harbour view is one of the best from this hotel specially at night. Comfortable beds. Amenities are more than adequate. Clean and well located rooms.
Travel tip : If you havelitlle time for shopping. Just step out and walk to Wing On Plaza. Well appointed department store and many local brands en route to this store.

*Large room
*Nice 42 inch flat screen TV, good bathroom, free upgrade to harbour view room
*Excellent king size bed, extremely comfortable
*Nice rooftop swimming pool
*Nice view of Hong Kong harbour
*Hotel gym a bit small
*Swimming pool locker room a bit small
*Hotel lobby in need of renovation, hotel seems relatively old
Excellent value oriented hotel if you dont mind slight walk to subway station. About 15 minute walk to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. I found the room to be large and roomy. Good bathroom. Ample size. Kudos to the extremely comfortable king size bed. Hotel installed new 42 inch flat screen TV in its rooms. Harbour view is excellent and enjoyed rooftop swimming pool. For travelers who want deep hidden value in a hotel with ample room and low cost but dont mind walking some distance, excellent hotel choice for Hong Kong. Would stay here again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Walk to East Tsim Sha Tsui station, takes about 10 minutes. East Tsim Sha Tsui station is connected by a flat escalator to Tsim Sha Tsui station and will take about 5 minutes to walk. Fastest way to go to Tsim Sha Tsui station without taking a taxi.

Class, character, wood, marble, mirrors, views. Five star ambiance
Where so many Hong Kong hotels are sleek and modern, the Grand Stanford is sleek and full of character. The lobby is sweeping but warm and always buzzing. The rooms are full of wood paneling, the bedding is the best, the harbor view takes the place of the fourth wall and can be seen while reclining in your super comfy bed. Character and class, GS has it in abundance. Love the place, will be back. Oh and service is exactly what you'd expect at a classy joint.
Travel tip : We found Agoda's price for a harbour view was substantially more affordable than other hotel sites -- made it affordable.

Staff were excellent. Very helpful. Having a 'club' room was a real bonus and worth the extra cost.
Would definitely stay there again!
We stayed for 3 nights and were delighted from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
Everything was as it should be and more. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay there again.

Great location. Easily accessible from Nathan road and Kowloon Station. Well located rooms. All amenities provided.
If Tsim Tsa Tsui is your area of operation or work than this hotel meets all your needs. It is located in a hotel area.
Got an upgrade and an ocean view room that made the visit more memorable. Highly recommended to business travelers on the run.
There is a ferry on the oceanside that takes you directly to Hong Kong Central. Also a subway to connect to all the areas in HK.

Location in a quiet part in the bustling city of Hong Kong.
A Distance away from the MTR.
A good grade 5 star hotel situated in the East part of Tsimtsaisui. With good restaurant and nice cozy bar. Friendly staff and ease of check-in formalities. Surrounding area have local dishes and a Park to take a walk and access to convenience stores. Generally value for money although a bit far from the subway station as Hong Kong is generally a subway cum walk location. However, would choose back the same hotel in same location for my next visit to Hong Kong again.

The bay view and the nice area with shops, restaurants and bars in short walking distance.
Small worn out room this time. Not nice at all.
A big disappointment this time. Last time I had a great room which seemed fresh and cozy. This time I got a small, worn-out room. It even did not seem to be cleaned properly.
Food and restaurants in the hotel as always. Excellent.
Shopping Tip : Walking distance to Granville Road. Its a shopping eldorado.

Nice staff, nice room, excellent food.
Stayed here some years ago,and the hotel looks the same. Friendly staff and cosy ambiance. The room was quite big with all comfort you need. Did not have time to use the nice pool area. Nice to walk directly from the hotel on the promenade to Starferries.
