Upon arrival, staying for one night was upgraded to suite overlooking Victoria harbour. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was great! Large and spacious with separate living room and large bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and view over harbour was spectacular.

Very good experience. Everything seems to be good, except for the internet. They charge for internet connection. Don't know if it's a common thing among these 5-star hotels... Lots of other hotels offer free internet service. Anyway, other things are good.

Comfortable and quiet

Our four night stay was comfortable and the hotel had all the amenities required for a relaxing stay.
Checking in and out was hassle free and done very quickly and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our daughter was even presented with a s teddy bear as a gift upon checking in which was a lovely gesture as it was about 1:30am by the time we had reached the hotel and we were all exhausted.
The bedding sizes differ a little to the western bedding system though. The twin doubles that we expected in our rooms were more the size of a generous king single. My daughter and I could fit on one bed but there was no way you would get a couple of average western size on one bed. We pushed the beds together and there was ample room then for the three of us.
The other great thing the hotel has to offer is a pillow menu. You will definitely need to make use of this if soft pillows aren't for you. I got a much better sleep the second night after discovering the pillow menu and having the lavender latex pillow brought to the room.
Buffet breakfast had a great range and wasn't bad. The cooked western breakfast probably wasn't the best but there was plenty of other things to choose from.
When you get into a taxi from the hotel, the doorman provides you with a card with the licence plate of the taxi in case you forget anything in the taxi and need to follow up later on. The card also has "please take me to intercontinental grand Stanford" written in Chinese so that you can show it to the taxi driver to get back.
Our room was on a high level but with no real view of the harbour. You could only see a little between the gap between the hotel and the building next door. The room was a good size, clean, comfortable and newly renovated. The design is nice and modern. House keeping make your room each time you leave. If you don't want this to happen, put on your do not disturb light.
The hotel was about a 5 minute walk to the entrance of the subway which lead you to the MTR.

This is a nice and big room comparing to many hotels in HongKong. You may have to walk a short distance to MRT. Hotel provide complimentary shuttle bus to TST, in overall, nice hotel but can a be a distance walk for shoppers

It was a nice stay, however the surcharge for the internet is ridiculous. These days most of the hotels have free Wifi. The internet did not work great all the time.
