The views from the harbour view rooms are spectacular - right on the water looking over to the skyline of HK Island.
the French restaurant Spoon was excellent with friendly staff and delicious food.
The rooms are small; the DVD player did not work on two separate stays in two different rooms.
The hotel needs a wider and more recent update on their DVD library.
The hotel offers amazing views over the harbour to the bright lights of HK Island. The rooms themselves are small but have everything you need.On two separate stays in the same week my DVD machine did not work in two separate rooms. After about half an hour the technicans fixed the problems on both occasions.
The French restaurant 'Spoon' was excellent with delicious food and proper European quality service that was friendly and helpful.
The Grill Restaurant has excellent salads.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit the HK Art Gallery that is right next door to the hotel. Also take a jog/walk along the harbour front.

There are no coffee or tea making facilities in room. If you want to have a cuppa in the middle of the night, you have to drink cold water instead.
If you want to enjoy the spectacular harbour view of Hong Kong, look no further, this is the one to stay at. You can sit by the window all day and night and you definitely wouldn't be disappointed. The room is quite roomy by Hong Kong standard, the staff are helpful, service is second to none. Would recommend to anyone.

Luxury hotel with spacy lobby and attantive staff welcoming you. Good decorated rooms (especially with Harbor view), perfect room service. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere in resturants and a bar, piano playing in the lobby. Shopping spots, trasport spots, ferry - all close to the hotel location.
Intercontinental hotel is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong because of its perfect location, picturesque harbor view, polite and all-foresee staff and very good restaurants as wellas a wine bar with a marvelous selections of wines. I stay only in this hotel in HK 4-5 times a year and not going to change my mind. Recommend both for business and leisure trips.
