The views from the harbour view rooms are spectacular - right on the water looking over to the skyline of HK Island.
the French restaurant Spoon was excellent with friendly staff and delicious food.
The rooms are small; the DVD player did not work on two separate stays in two different rooms.
The hotel needs a wider and more recent update on their DVD library.
The hotel offers amazing views over the harbour to the bright lights of HK Island. The rooms themselves are small but have everything you need.On two separate stays in the same week my DVD machine did not work in two separate rooms. After about half an hour the technicans fixed the problems on both occasions.
The French restaurant 'Spoon' was excellent with delicious food and proper European quality service that was friendly and helpful.
The Grill Restaurant has excellent salads.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Visit the HK Art Gallery that is right next door to the hotel. Also take a jog/walk along the harbour front.

There are no coffee or tea making facilities in room. If you want to have a cuppa in the middle of the night, you have to drink cold water instead.
If you want to enjoy the spectacular harbour view of Hong Kong, look no further, this is the one to stay at. You can sit by the window all day and night and you definitely wouldn't be disappointed. The room is quite roomy by Hong Kong standard, the staff are helpful, service is second to none. Would recommend to anyone.

Luxury hotel with spacy lobby and attantive staff welcoming you. Good decorated rooms (especially with Harbor view), perfect room service. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere in resturants and a bar, piano playing in the lobby. Shopping spots, trasport spots, ferry - all close to the hotel location.
Intercontinental hotel is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong because of its perfect location, picturesque harbor view, polite and all-foresee staff and very good restaurants as wellas a wine bar with a marvelous selections of wines. I stay only in this hotel in HK 4-5 times a year and not going to change my mind. Recommend both for business and leisure trips.

Harbour view, amazing breakfast, rooms, butler service, limousine service, professional staff - EVERYTHING!
They could include free internet for that room price
Everything was perfect. We were greeted with a very professional staff, perfect English, we didn't have a harbour view room as non was available but we'd spend a lot of time in the bar overlooking the harbour. Actually this lobby bar is one of the attractions listed in all HK guides as the view is simply the best and they have live music with this great blonde singer with an amazing voice and the great band playing live. Expect pricey food - club sandwich with 2 teas costs about 70 USD. But be sure to try a cherry cheesecake - the best cheesecake I have ever had in my life!
Located in the center, close to star ferry, Mongkok – so location is also great.
Perfect service, butler available in room. Concierge would explain everything and are very helpful. Super comfy bed, flat TV in room. Breakfast also superb; be sure to try all the smoothies as they are fantastic. Limousine service to airport they'd send a Mercedes-Benz S 600 and there will be a man greeting you in airport and helping you with bags and check-in. Feel like royalty!
Overall just perfect and truly gorgeous hotel.
Shopping Tip : try ladies market for cheap stuff and bling-blings :)

great views, rooms, food menus, customer service and NOBU restaurant.
High prices; SPOON restaurant.
The hotel lobby lounge had great harbour views. Reasonal sized rooms, big bathrooms, comfortable bed and pillows. The hotel had tasty food menus with healthy alternatives. The hotel was very close to major shopping centres around the area.
You must try NOBU Restaurant, which was exceptional. SPOON restaurant is overrated. Customer service was great throughout the hotel and so was the panoromic harbour views. Other than the high prices overall was a pleasant stay. Next time I would like to try the buffet.

The services was very nice, it is a comfortable place, the food is delicious, the localization facilitate many things to us.
Always we had known that the perfection does not exist, but we found it in our stay in the InterContinental hotel hong Kong.
Because when we are far from house we wish receive the same treatment. That is the exactly that provide the hotel InterContinental to us.
The food were delicious, the room was clean, comfortable, the personnel are qualified, in short, they have a perfect cordination between all the points and this is important.

service, room size and decor, bed, location.
pool area design, look of the hotel from outside.
We got a perfect pickup to the hotel from the airport. Very good service when we checked in. Good concierge recommendation regarding restaurants and other activities. But no direct transfer to the Hong Kong Jewellery show, so that you have to use the star ferry which is quite full after the show when everybody goes home. But all other points are perfect including the restaurant and of course the great view. The pool and the bathroom would need a refurbish.
Restaurant Tip : Lawry´s steak restaurant at Hongkong side, Causeway Bay.

Great hotel with the best views in Hong Kong - bear in mind the Kowloon side location though as taxi rides to Central take a while due to traffic. Star Ferry is definitely the quickest option to the Island.

Great things from the room at night when all is said
I did different was to request a smoking room when booking. What has the entire No smoking?
10 years ago (before the return of China) when they travel to Hong Kong, then a stay was RIJENTOHOTERU. We visited again and taste the most delicious meals in the hotel and restaurant china in the best location on the top floor room at the Harbor View. Was changed to the point of concern is the management INTAKONCHI. GoldenI put the book because it's suddenly IKU, is located in the upper floors of the room was not very happy. However, it seems a little down compared to the previous night. Since the restaurant was changed to a different store, but unfortunately came to入RAZU. And cleanliness of the room, the bed寝心地good, staff was very satisfied with the response.
Restaurant Tip : Buffet meal and the price is good I think.
