This was my first time in Island Pacific. It is not walking distance to underground station and it was not easy to get a taxi during rush hours. The rooms are quite small but comfortable enough if you are looking for a place to sleep

Good hotel in ok location

Stay was ok, although I was ill and couldn't evaluate all the features, like gim ann pool. In-room dining was ok, bit expensive, but in the range you should expect from hotel restaurant. Breakfast was really good, although again a bit expensive, comparing to averall pricing in Hong Kong. Internet quality in the room was perfect - not so common for hotels, especially if it come for free. Location wasn't very close to center, but since the taxi pricing there is very low, the hotel price was more than compensating such expenses.
Hotel Feature Tip:
I took "superior harbor side" room, but it still was quite small, so I'm not sure, how usable the "standard" rooms are

It s a nice hotel. Centrally located overlooking the bay...rooms are compact and comfy...price is not bad too...a good hotel with smiling staff....

Excellent service
concierge staffs are friendly and excellent

room size is good. the location is great to move around especially when you know how use the tram. free shuttle provided to ferry terminal,ifc mall etc but there is no pick up however the hotel is not far, taxi fees around hkd30-40.have a good nite out in lan kwai fung till 3am, taxi fees only hkd 30.the staffs are friendly especially concierge.

Great view and small rooms
Free internet access, Accessibility to public transport especially the tram and good restaurants.

location is just right for me because i always need to buy assorted chinese cooking ingredients such as chinese sausages, liver sausages, mushrooms, century eggs, salted fish, kam wah ham, etc.
hotel room upkeep is very clean. has free hotel owned shutter van or bus to the express train station in central that will not have to stop at different hotels.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a Chinese restaurant that serves very good dim sum early in the morning. They have promotional discounted price on dim sum from 7am to 11am. Name of the restaurant is Ming Sing Seafood Restaurant.

great harbour views but a bit away from the action

hotel is away from the main attractions. need to take taxi, bus or tram to get anywhere.
staff very helpful but hotel communal areas would benefit from some upgrading.
room was good.

Excellent place to stay in!

bonus automatic upgrade to deluxe room. the room was larger than i expected. room view was facing the harbour. lovely, unobstructed view. counter staff were responsive and polite.
room is clean and well kept. some towels could do with replacing. the mattress is on the stiffer side which i prefer. they have tv channels for kids also so if you have kids, its good.
more importantly, the wifi is free in the room. no signal problems as the wifi router in on/behind the desk.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
hotel is situated quite far from the sheung wan mtr. a quick 10-15mins walk away. but plenty of native product shops to have a look around. but taxis are aplenty as well as trams and buses all around.

Enjoyable place to stay and hotel has minibus for transportation to airport express and other parts of HK.
