Nicely furnished, clean room. Very helpful, friendly staff.
We did not come across any problems during our stay.
On our way back to the UK after a nine week trip, we stayed in the JJ hotel for three nights. It was very clean and quiet and a relaxing place to come back to after the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. Very central for getting around. We got a bargain price for the room by booking through Agoda. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet haven in Hong Kong.
Travel tip : All the trams from Central stopped near the hotel. They were cheap, fun and it was an easy way to get around.

Clean, free wireless internet, two complimentary bottles of water, good location
transparent bathroom, small room, no soap bar or body lotion provided
This hotel occupies four floors of the Lucky Centre building, a 10 minute walk from Wan Chai MTR Station (Exit A3). It was clean and quiet, despite being on a busy street. A safe building with 24 hour security in the lobby. Other amenities included free wireless internet and complimentary bottles of water. Upon check-in, we received coupons for free cheesecake or two large beers. We had a room with a comfortable king size bed. Bathroom is transparent with glass doors. You can pull down blinds for some privacy but sometimes it was a hassle, especially when you needed to use it in a pinch. Must be careful to aways leave the a/c on when taking a shower; otherwise, fire alarm may go off.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Location may not be well known by taxi as its on a small road (灣仔道, aka Wan Chai Road off of Johnston Rd). A ten minute walk from Wan Chai MTR station (A3)

5 star room, spacious, comfortable and clean, king sized bed, complete room amenities, neat and tidy, near to public transportation like Tramways and MTR, good service provided by hotel staff
TV channels are limited, no view from room, aircond too cold at times, wifi signal weak from room but good at reception
I'm impressed and very pleased with the hotel and the good service provided by the staff. It was exactly like the pictures and what other reviewers have written. The hotel is on the 9th-12th floor, with 24-Hour security provided by the building. Many eatery around and 2-3 minutes walk to the nearest tramway station, and about 5-7 minutes walk to the Wan Chai MTR. Good value for money and very comfortable beds. Would highly recommended to anyone who wants to stay.

Room was not totally clean when we arrived. We found some hairs...
Airco fell down during 24 hours. Afterwards it was quite noisy. In general the hotel is quite noisy.
Our room was in front of the elevator...
Quite disapointed. We tought it would be better... I don't think we will return.

- Big shower and toilet
- Room is a reasonable size for HK standards. (Might be bigger than usual.)
- Lots of places to eat.
- Right next to a supermarket (WellCome)
- Nice and quiet location
- Might be a little hard to find at first.
- About a 10-15 mins walk to the Wan Chai MTR station.
The location of the hotel was away from the main street so it wasn't too noisy. The bathroom was nice and big for HK standards with the shower and toilet partitioned. Nice and clean look to the room and very comfortable beds. Not too far to walk to the nearest MTR station and is very close to Causeway Bay for some shopping.
I gave Food and Dining a 4 because there are quite a few places to eat around the hotel.

Great location, extremely clean, friendly and helpful staff. Great bathroom! Has a fridge and kettle and they supply you with coffee packets and tea. Fantastic for the price!
They have a DVD player in each room but charge you to use it and charge a substantial amount to use the computer.
I would highly recommend the JJ Hotel for anyone visiting Hong Kong, whether for business or pleasure. It is in a great location, only 5 minute walk to Wanchai MTR and a 10 minute walk to the star ferry. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is top notch. They also provide you with shampoo, toothbrushes, combs etc. It's also very quiet so the rooms must be well insulated. This hotel really helped us have an amazing visit to Hong Kong.
Restaurant Tip : We did not dine at the Lucky Center so we don't know about the food but if you wanted food service, I found the prices to be reasonable. We enjoyed trying out some of the local restaurants in the area and we were not disappointed.

clean, the staff are helpful
it was still under renovation
when we stayed at JJ, the hotel was still under renovation, so the hotel sign was almost unseen. but we like the room very much; simple, clean and modern. this hotel is located at busy area, so we found it very easy to look for food, market, shops, and bus stop, also near to MTR station.

The JJ hotel is centrally located between causeway bay and wanchai (you can walk to both stations). The hotel room was clean but had a funny smell. I still thought it was good for the money

Cheap option when HK is busy. Well presented room, clean and modern.
Strange set up, no reception area just an office on one floor and the hotel rooms are on some, but not all, of the higher floors. Feels a little weird, but not off-putting.
This hotel is quite strange as the reception is only a small office on the 6th floor and the actual guest rooms are spread across the 10th, 12th, 13th, 15th and 17th floors. The other floors are not owned by or part of the hotel so it feels a bit weird. However, the rooms are secure, clean and modern. Not a bad place to shower and sleep for a couple of nights. A few minutes walk to the nearest MTR and internet was included in my package. This is not a bad 'back-up' option hotel if HK is busy but it would not be my first choice.

Location, price, big rooms
Some noise from elevator area
Wasn't quite sure what to expect from the JJ Hotel as I had never heard of it. Causeway Bay hotels like the Holiday Inn Express and the South Pacific (both with-in walking distance from the JJ Hotel) are at least 40% more expensive and their standard rooms are extremely small so I thought I would be coming down in quality and size.
I had a late check in but the staff was awaiting me and it only took me a few minutes to get into my room. I was really surprised, the room was huge. Free wi-fi was also a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the JJ and I'll be staying there on my next trip to HK.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : With-in walking distance to Causeway Bay shopping and restaurants and Wan Chai nightlife.

Very central and staff were friendly and helpful
The lobby did not exist and no parking at the front to unload your your luggage
This hotel was clean and I liked the Glass bathroom walls although not good when sharing with a work peer. A great feature was the free wireless internet access. The staff were always able to provide guidance and advice on what to do and how to get to places and were even able to provide us with loose change for the public transport.

Very trendy room, small but clean and comfortable
at night might be hard to find with a foggy head
Stayed for 3 nights, did not have breakfast but did order room service and thought it was quite good for cheap prices. Liked the flat screen tv in the room, staff were friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance of the nightlife area of Wan Chai but it may be easier to find it when going out than it will be when coming back :) Thought it was a good cheaper priced option and would definitely go back again. Pity there was no pool or gym when i was there as it would have made it perfect
Travel tip : To save some money in a very expensive city, try eating a snack from the room service menu and then go out and get a nice main course in a restaurant

Free Wi-FI, Rooms are very big by HKG standard. Welcome supermarket just below the hotel and shops nearby. Bus stop is nearby
MTR is quite a distance to walk to. The bathroom is made of glass so u will need to use the blinds is you are staying with someone who is not your spouse.
JJ Hotel is a excellent hotel to stay in. I found the staff friendly and attentive. The rooms are big by Hong Kong standards and tastefully furnished. Even though it is situated on the busy Wan Chai Road, it is surprisingly quiet at night. There is a supermarket just below the hotel and restaurants nearby that sells food until quite late at night (9-10pm). The bus stop is nearby and will take you to Central within 7-10 minutes. The MTR is not that near though and would entail a decent 5-7 minutes walk.

Free WIFI provided by hotel
Sound proof of the rooms are not up to standard
Most taxi drivers do not know the existence of this hotel. Took me quite some time and effort to locate the hotel
The room is clean but there are few days where the blanket provided are torn.
It can be quite noisy if you got the room near the lift as you can always the sound of people walking and talking.
