Majestically perched atop world-famous Pacific Place, the hotel's luxurious sophistication shows stunning views, beautiful rooms,and award winning restaurants. Near great shopping including the Pacific Place Mall with names such as Chanel, Gucci, Louis Vuitton. The subway is in the basement and transportation anywhere in the city is easy. The 32 sq meter rooms have wall to ceiling windows looking out on the mountains or the harbor. The triple sheeted, pillow topped beds are a dream of comfort, and the room is filled with all those wonderful extras such as fluffy robes, separate shower and tub, turndown service and more. Since this is a Marriott hotel the business service are top notch. The six restaurants are great. A tip: if breakfast buffets bore you, try the Marriott’s, it will change your mind.

This hotel was great overall. What made it really stand out was its location with regards to its price. The staff and facilities meet all of the general standards that give its five star rating; however there isn't much else that stands out that brings this hotel above and beyond those requirements and therefore doesn't really stand out in comparison to its rivals. I do still feel that in comparison to all of the other hotels I have stayed at in Hong Kong, the J.W. is by far one of the better choices.
Shopping Tip : Though the hotel is located on the Hong Kong side of Victoria Harbor, I recommend venturing over to Kowloon as well for a similar if not better shopping experience

convenient -- central to shopping and all offices. clean and good service overall. not the best view from my room. I was staying there for a stop over but for the convenience, chose JW MARRIOTT. Although it was on a New Years Eve, it was not noisy and messy as on the other side of HK. Smooth check-out was something that saved us time since we were in a rush very early in the morning.

Room was small compared to other 5 star hotels on same location Have to be careful on taking any offers at this hotel on the stay two nights get one free the hotel does not accept Agodas offer of room with breakfast included except for the free night hote indsists you pay for breakfast on all three nights Agoda staff not able to help with this even if you have it in writing that you have breakfast included,
The bar on the ground floor is very nice and a great place to eat but do not buy many drinks unless you are very very rich
