very professional and friendly staff. made arrrangements to let me check in early wheni landed early am after a long transatlantic flight. pool area and restaurant are very pleasant for downtown hong kong. my main complaints would be about the overall quality of the food at the breakbast buffet and the sushi restaurant, which i found sub-standard for the level of the establishment.

open your curtains from a switch next to your bed; plug your pc into the big-screen tv; fast, free wi-fi; exceptional buffet dining

one of those hotels where every little detail seems to suprise and delight. the sort of comfort you want/need when you're travelling on business and have paid top $.
Restaurant Tip:
Try the lunch buffet. Wow.

The hotel is a great place to stay. it is near the city center and near the malls and other areas like wangchai rd. etc.

Turned 50 so I was set for a trip to Hong Kong with my wife and one of four children that would appreciate Disneyland; good hotel that has access to MTR;shopping and of course the airport; views from the room were sensational; ocean and mountains; Bistro (breakfast)was high standard; staff very personable;will go back next trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
As for an upgrade to executive room; you will probable get it but dont expect the other benefits like the lounge etc.

i was expecting more than this when i booked "jw marriott" brand. but i was disappointed with the size of the room. it is very small and quite old although well maintained. the food was ok, not so great.
should have stayed somewhere else.
Shopping Tip:
There are many interesting places to go around the hotel. Location is the only good thing.

An excellent hotel, best of the 3 in Pacific Place

stayed recently at the conrad and the island shangri-la, also located at the pacific place complex but for this visit, thought the jw marriot was better than the other two in terms of service. they seem to have upped the ante on service compared to my previous stay and it's much better than conrad, even the shangri-la. everyone greeted us, including the gm in a warm and friendly manner. although the view from the room is not as good as the other two hotels mentioned, i would indeed select the jw marriot again for my next visit.

Great location and food is awesome. Our room is overlooking the hill side. Very peaceful and very clean. the most convenient hotel i have stayed. Admiralty station is less than 5 min walk and one stop away from Central. We had a 4 year old boy with us this time and the hotel manager was very kind with patient helping us taking care of the kid.
