near to the china ferry station which I only take less than 10 minutes to reach. The staff are very friendly and able to communicate and know how to solve our problem. Very convenient for shopping and able to find local food near by. The room is cozy and clean. It worth every cents.

We didnt care for the hotel too much. The bed was hard, room is small and they were doing renovations while we were there so we got woken up early by noise right outside our room. Only good thing is the location and the workers were friendly.

the kimberley is in a great location, being close to nathan road for shopping, and to the metro stations for travelling to hong kong central and the sight seeing attractions. hotel is well set up and features wifi for the business traveller, although it is only available in the lobby. rooms well presented & clean.

stayed at this hotel , cos my usual one was booked out for this period..
check in was smooth & prompt. staff were friendly, helpful & good english abilities.. the concierge boys were excellent.. they do a great job. should be given more recognition.
breakfast was a dilemna.. seems the hotel would rather focus on groups more than the individual travellers.. the guy in charge at the breakfast hall in the morning was nothing short of rude. my room was booked without breakfast, but i was prepared to pay for the convenince, but it was too much trouble for him..
no skin off my nose.. i just went outside to the chinese restaurant across the street, for the 4 days. cheaper 7 more healthier anyway... "your loss kimberley hotel"
the rooms are ok.. as i said .. a bit dated. the hotel is sure in need of a refurb.. the pics that you see when booking are not quite what the place looks like in real life..
i would rate it at the bottom of the 4 star end..
the bar & coffe lounge on the lobby level is certainly expensive compared to other places that i have stayed
the location is probably the best point of the hotel. its a 5 minute walk to the metro. short walk to star ferry terminal. short walk to bars & restaurants along nathan rd..

Decent Location but no Charm

Getting around Tsim Tsa Sui is great with Kimberley Hotel. The problems is the internet speed is bad and you have to pay for it. The hotel has no charm. Its just a big hotel with lots of room. No feeling of home.

The staff should be trained to speak English since Hongkong is an international tourist city. The staff's first word is Guangdong instead of asking guest for preferred language.
