Very good location, disappointed with service
Kimberley Hotel is centrally located at Tsim Sha Tsui and just across are restaurants so we did not have a difficult time looking for a place to eat. But there were also a lot of issues we encountered almost everyday of our stay. Day 1, we were given a smoking room on the 1st level of the hotel rooms, considering that we have requested a room int he upper floor and a non-smoking room. As soon as we got into the room, we noticed the smell of cigarette. We were able to verify that the room is a smoking room when I called room service. Upon request to be transferred, the front desk staff was not friendly and seemed in a hurry to put the phone down. She insisted that we stay in the smoking room and transfer the next day due to fully book. Day 2 - We were able to transfer to a non-smoking room on the higher floor. When we used the shower the tub's floor drain was not functioning well. Since we were already tired from walking the whole day we did not bother to call for room service and decided to let it pass until the next day. Day 3 - We woke up at 7:30am to see a note under the door informing us that our "do not ring bell" light is on and that she was not able to clean the room. Of course we are still asleep. We got home very late the night before considering that 7:30am is still early. Anyway, after showering and leaving the room in the morning, we made sure to inform room service about the malfunctioning floor drain. Immediately the cleaner came in and checked. We had to explain to her about the floor drain and then left so she can clean the room. When we got back in the afternoon, we were surprised to see that our soiled towels were left on the sink counter. The floor mat was also left on the counter. But what the heck. We can just put all those on the floor. Our issue is just - standards - why was the bathroom left like that? But at the end of the day, if you will consider location, I would still consider staying here and hopefully the above

I expect a cleaner room for a 4 stars hotel.
Room is not well cleaned and maintained but great location.
