Strategic hotel
Nice hotel, location very near railway station maybe only 2 minutes. There is also very nearby local restaurant and also the temple market.

Poor maintenance and service

Service was very poor. Dropped by the day before check-in to book extra bed and enquire about early check-in and she kindly checked and said that it is not a problem. On the day of check in, the manager was there and she rudely told us check in time is 2pm and no earlier without bothering to check. Even if it's true, no need to be rude. During check out, luggage was charged per piece for storage.
Convenience is that bus A21 to airport is just a few steps away, across small street. Taxi stand right at door step. Mtr is a block away.
Room was poorly maintained. WC was stuck and had to call for maintenance to fix within first half hour of check in. Bathtub drains slowly. Towel rack was broken. Sink is narrow so if you lean in to wash face, will bump head against mirror. Had to call reception again before heading out because door lock is spoilt.
Bed itself is ok. King size, clean and comfortable. Room size is ok.

Mediocre 3 bed family room smaller than standard

Booked 2 family room (3 bed) + 1 standard (double bed) rooms, but upon checkin only one family room was ready. To freshen up, all 8 of us crammed into the tiny family room with luggages. Eventually when we returned in the evening to get the other 2 rooms, the standard 2 bed room was even more spacious than the family rooms! Only one lift and sometimes quicker to take the stairs (down!)
Condition of the rooms weren't great, definitely not 4 stars. all switches on the wall weren't labelled at all, turning on and off things were all guess works.
