This is the third time I stay to Shang-lira Hotel because of the good impression of the hotel good mentain, good location and the smart training permormence of the staffs.
Shopping Tip:
Just on the Nather Road near Tsui Sha Jui. Very convience are.

On leaving for the airport a taxi was hailed for us. Another taxi pulled up behind and started to abuse the taxi driver for apparently having jumped the queue. There was a lot of screaming and shouting which made us feel quite uncomfortable, especially heading to the airport for a long flight. We refused to get in with either of these two drivers. The door attendant could have handled the situation a little better.

this is the best hotel in hk and kowloon. i travel all the time back and forth from la to hk. i have found this hotel gives the best service for the price. superb service in fact. best food for the price for a westerner! they go beyond the call of duty to welcome you; care for you; like family attentiveness! i recommend this hotel to everyone. this location is across from the train system which makes travel around hk and kowloon and shenzhen easy and fast. 5 star rating is an understatement.
Shopping Tip:
one thing i found just two doors down from the hotel - next to 7/11 is entrance to a shopping center - use the escalator to go up one floor to prince edwards tailor shop and get your suits made there. it is exquisite quality and what business people should wear in hk business. the owner is akhtar. tell him stephanie sent you. you are in for a treat. i had to sift through many tailors to find this guy. a rare gem of quality.

great location. everything is just a walk away from the hotel. transportation is not a problem. restaurant are all over the corner. staff are very accommodating and lovely lobby. spacious rooms and free internet access everywhere in the hotel...wireless. safe area to walk around even late at night

We had complimentary Jasmine tea placed in our room on arrival - a nice touch.
The room was newly renovated and finished to a very high standard. Beds were really comfortable also.
The staff in the hotel were very friendly and could not do enough for you. We will definately be returning!!

Enjoy drinks in the bar overlooking the harbour at night - fantastic!

Great size Room with a stunning VIEW!
Location in a quieter area of HK. Great buzz & buffet at Breakfast. Great service at Front Desk ,Porters, Concierge.

Stayed in a Deluxe Harbour View room with Breakfast included. The perfect 3 night stopover after hectic travel thru China. The location of the hotel is good if you like it on the quieter side with busier streets just 300m away. Access to MRT very close & 8min walk to Star Ferry along safe & clean harbourside boardwalk - Avenue of Stars. The view of the harbour is stunning overlooking HK Island, Central etc. & you catch a bit of the Symphony of Light show...the IC Hotel just blocks the full show looking to the right.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Catch the BIG BUS Tour nearby. Walk over the pedestrian bridge & down the glass elevator to the harbour boardwalk. Look for the girls/guys in the BIG BUS t shirts near the roadside not far from Starbucks. Good hassle free shopping in nearby streets.

Very good location - near the harbor, in the heart of the city. Big rooms (not the standard in HK), free of charch internet access. The hotel is quite old? that is why I would give 4,5 out of 5 grades for it for using in business purpose.
