good location to connect to hk airport. the cheapest way is by the airport bus a11 on kings road and tsing fung street. the fare is 40 hkd per adult. if you are a senior, you can buy the senior octopus card and pay half fare. if you want to get to the airport quicker, you can take the tin hau mtr to central station and walk to hong kong station to take the airport express at 100 hkd per person. for some airlines you can check-in on your day of travel, pay 40 hkd to store your carry-on luggage and go sightseeing/shopping the last few hours you are in hong kong. outside of the hotel are numerous eateries and a bakery. the supermarket is less than a short block away. even with busy shops and modern converience nearby, the hotel rooms are perfectly quiet. we were on the 10th floor. our daughter and her friend were on the 35th floor.
the rooms are very clean and we will certainly book this hotel again when we come to hong kong the next time.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Apart from the good points mentioed above about this hotel, this place has 2 computers in the lobby for guests use. There is internet in the room if you have your own computer. The front desk staff are friendly and they all speak English.

Good Value, Unbeatable neighborhood,

We stayed for a week at this hotel. Tin Hau is a great place to stay if you are not interested in easy access to Prada bags and swiss watches.(I guess all of Hong Kong has that, actually).
Tin Hau used to be a neighborhood with auto repair shops, but has become something of a restaurant row and Electric Road has some great food, with not a lot of tourist hype.
This hotel is not fancy, but servicable and a good value for money.

L'Hotel is perfect for a city break on a budget. It gets the baics right in that it has polite staff, is clean and in a good location. I have stayed here twice now and find it a convenient base for a trip to Hong Kong.
Travel tip:
Buy a travel pass for the subway and airport express at the airport when you arrive.

Decent room size and very conveniently located in terms of transport, food and shopping

toilet flush button did not work properly and sink had a smell. bed was so hard your back never touched it. had to ask for extra quilt to support back. pillows felt like they were not there. as a place to come back to rest it was disappointing and unrestful.

my parents and i had a great stay here since our room was upgraded to a suite. i think this is because we booked a room with one extra bed, and since their suites have sofa beds, it won't be hassle to add an extra bed. we just used the provided sofa bed. room was big and clean with two nice comfort rooms, both with hot shower and there was also a nice bath tub.
housekeeping are not speaking english, but receptionists do, so it was not that bad. breakfast not included in package. i also wished it was a bit cheaper.
good location also because the hotel is right across tin hau mtr station. it was convenient for us to travel during our stay. i definitely recommend this hotel to all travelers out there!!!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
go to ngong ping cale car & peak tram. search it on net. :)

we could enjoy our stay at this hotel. it stands near the subway station and there are many restaurants near it. we can find some nice cafe. sweets were delicious. it is not far from causeway bay but very quiet.

We booked a Deluxe room via Agoda, but I contacted the hotel direct to update to a Harbour View Executive room as a birthday surprise for my wife. We agreed an upgrade price to be paid to the hotel on check-out. When we arrived, at no extra charge, the hotel had upgraded us to the best accommodation in the hotel, the Harbour View Executive Suite on the top floor. This was a lovely, spacious space with separate sitting room & fabulous views over Hong Kong, the harbour & Kowloon.
Restaurant Tip:
The hotel bar has a very good value Happy "hour".
