the hotel is conveniently located nera the mtr station, just in fron (tin hau). however, the price is to high for what is has to offer and i don´t think i'll repeat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Tin Hau Temple is at the side of the hotel

great location nice pool
rooftop pool views and gym
8
l'hotel is in a great location , right outside you have the tin hau mtr stop, you can walk to causeway bay, and right outside is the tram stop too, which takes you all over the island. it seems a very handy, safe place and location. i also like the rooftop pool, small but ok, and amazing green mountain views.
it also has a small but good gym with cycling, running, step machines. i didnt use the restaurant. it also has a really nice groovy basment bar with half price drinks till 8pm, and free internet pcs down there (and 2 at reception)
Restaurant Tip:
Round the area is Electric road, by the MTR stop, has some good sports shops but good cheap restauramnts. We ate in Chillli Thai at noumber 86, greta food, good prices.

Rooms are cleam and comfortable but a little too small. LAN cables are provided but you need to pay for using the internet. Nothing much around the hotel.

Great location with decent amenities.
opposite tin hou mtr station - convenience
7
l'hotel offers great location for leisure travellers to stay in hongkong. located just opposite of tin hou mtr station and 5 minutes walk from the nearest tram station, it only talks 10 mins to go to causeway bay and/or wan chai for great food and shopping! however, with its average amenities and no wifi service, it is abit on the pricey side.
Shopping Tip:
Recommend to take either MTR (opp L'Hotel) or a tram (within 5 mins walk from L'Hotel) to Causeway Bay or Wan Chai for food and shopping!

Great hotel
great room - amazing view, can see harbour. Just acorss from metro to Central station!
8.7
our room was perfect, we asked to be high and got 37th floor with a fabulous view of hk island. room modern, and large with seating area at huge window. bathroom was excellent.
the hotel is situated just back from the main causeway bay area, but is literally across the road from the metro and the transport links are truely excellent.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Go to Avenue of the Stars (Tsin Sha Tsui East Promenade) in Kowloon to look bak at HK island for the light show, it is great view and very atmospheric (get there by 7.30 to get a good view!)

beautiful view of the HK harbor and good size room
comfortable bed and nice bathroom

The location is excellent. It is near the MTR, tram and bus lines. The number E11 airport bus from the airport terminal took us right across the street from the hotel. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Everything is within walking distance. They have upgraded us to a room with a view which we can see the HK harbor. The view from the window at night is even more beautiful.
One big disappointment: The TV in the room is so old and small. They need to put in a flat screen TV.

Good location - expected more for the price
5.3
The location was fairly good to get to most places and the hotel is signposted fairly clearly from Tin Hau MTR station. You can't really miss it. The room was OK and I suppose the steep room rate was relfective of the location as staying on the Kowloon side would undoutedly been a lot cheaper. Was a bit disappointed at the quality of the room and was forced to have a twin room (two single beds) instead of a double (1 king size) as I had booked, as the guy at reception claimed they had no other rooms. Probably wouldn't stay here again, but it wasn't awful.

Great Hotel & Friendly Services
Conveniently located in the city centre and good hospitality
8.7
i was given a short notice to visit for business purpose at the week end when there was the cricket six and electronics trade fair. it was difficult to find a decent hotel at good location. i chose l' hotel because it was located at a convenient location (opposite to tin hau mtr station) and was one of the few hotels with rooms available when i booked hotel room less than 2 weeks before my travel. when i arrived the hotel late in the evening, i was surprised by the friendliness of its staff and the eagerness to help. i was upgraded to a suite at high floor. the room was clean & tidy. it was a pleasant experience to be in this hotel. it is easily accessible by all major means of traffic. there are lots of nice dining places in the neighborhood, and it is one stop away from causeway bay by mtr.
i was extremely impressed when i checked out from the hotel on a busy sunday afternoon. a front desk staff offered to rush out of the hotel to hire a taxi for me to the airport - which is uncommon in other hotels in hk. this is a place which is worth recommending to other travellers.

decent(ish) location, that's about it

specify non-smoking room (if desired). location-wise it's a decent enough base to strike out to more interesting parts of town. functional to the point of soulless, with all the sterility of the business hotel (without the wi-fi etc. of a normal business hotel).
