L'hotel Island South has huge rooms, much bigger than the typical room size in Hong Kong anyway. While there are many buses that one can take outside the hotel, you must be somewhat familiar with the HK transport system.

Ocean Park is nearby.

Smart, modern, comfortable hotel with nice views

The hotel was well organised, the reception helpful, our rooms were adjoining despite no request for this in our booking, and we liked the pool-deck. Very convenient shuttle buses to Central.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Good for South side, Ocean Park a genuine alternative to Central at much better price

free wireless internet, free shuttle to and from airport express and ocean park. only good if you plan to visit ocean park. got discounted tickets for ocean park valid for 2 consecutive days. if you are planning a trip to ocean park then surely stay at this hotel, else look elsewhere.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Use their free shuttle from Hongkong Airport Express Station. Buy the Ocean Park tickets from the Hotel.

Very nice hotel
Excellent room service. Big toilet. Good internet connection.

The room was just nice, not too small. Visited the hotel's restaurant. Their deserts and drinks were good, service was excellent. Shuttle bus service was very convenient however it was not always on time and we end up having to wait more than half an hour at times with no notice from the staff in charge. But overall a good experience. Nevertheless the shuttle was the best mode of transport with stops like Hong Kong station and Ocean Park.

New hotel close to Ocean Park
All amenities are nice and new.

Went to Stanley Market and Ocean Park. There were not many options to eat outside the hotel. All-you-can drink promotion from 5pm to 9pm at the LIS Bar was superb while listening to a good jazz singer cum organ player!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make use of the shuttle from hotel to Central or take an adventure by taking bus. Just make sure you have coins because bus driver will not give back any change on bills.
