The towel looks not very clean. It is easy to hear the sounds from the other rooms. Others are good enough.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
It is the best place if you are from overseas and want to visit Ocean Park.

The size of the rooms are nice, and the view is fine, clean.
The air could be staffy if without air conditioning. Generally it's a good new hotel at a modest price. Located at one end of the tunnel that connects the south and north of the Hong Kong island.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
not connected by subway, but the bus at its backdoor could easily take you to the Ocean park and commercial areas at the other side of the tunnel.

Convenient hotel just a little in the corner

all in all the stay in the hotel was comfortable and since i was travelling with my siblings (younger) they also loved the experience.
the only hitch we encountered was that the rooms didn't have a centrally air conditioned that could heat the room. and since it was peak winters in hk this made our nights slightly uncomfortable.
rest assured we had a blast during our stay.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Can book in off season and get a good deal.

We really enjoyed the experience at this hotel. At this value in Hongkong, the hotel is quite a value for money, being nice and clean, with a gym and swimpool. Drinking water, coffee and tea facilities, bathtub, toiletries provided. Room and bathroom is spick and span. Bedsheets and towels are clean. Housekeeping lady is friendly and polite. The shuttle bus was a good option to get into the city.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The hotel itself was in an ugly location with warehouses and industrial decay around. The construction nearby indicates that the neighborhood is turning a corner. Hopefully in the future there will be more within walking distance of the hotel.

Stellar Hotel with great amenities

The hotel was located on Hong Kong Island within 10 mins walk to Ocean Park. That was the selling point for me. But everything else was a plus. Their shuttle service to various locations throughout HK is an added value. They serviced from 7 am until 11:50pm which is great for travelers on a budget or without a real plan in mind. The shuttle service takes you to Ocean Park, the main train station to get to the airport and other nice tourist attractions. The hotel is also new and their staff was very helpful and friendly. Great for families!
Shopping Tip:
There aren't a lot of shopping attractions near the hotel, however the shuttle service can take you to central HK that will get you to where ever you want to go. The hotel staff is also knowledgeable about tourist spots.

Nice hotel but ugly immediate surroundiing.

We arrived at the l'Hotel after staying at the Grand Hyett for 3 nights. We were devastated looking at the piles of rubbish at the edges of the street leading to the main entrance.What a dump we thought ! Inside thou,things became looking brighter .The hotel is freshly and tastefully renovated.Modern ,funky decorations and general cleanliness are the big plus.Rooms are comfortable enough ,clean but only standard ,no more.
The swimming pool nice,clean but the smell of the sewage put us off having a swimm.
The staff at the reception very scrupulous what makes them appearing slow . Check -in and Check-out takes ages.
We chose the hotel to be close to the Ocean Park.Hotel provided free shuttle and it took 5 min to arrive at the park.Walking is possible but to navigate throug the never ending construction sites is nerve wrecking.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Aberdeen shopping zone is worth exploring.It is only 10 mints walking from the hotel.

staff were very accommodating and as soon as we leave the hotel, they clean our room and give us new set of towels, bottled waters and coffee and teas and as soon as we came back, all were like as if it was our first time to check in in the room. they have a king-sized bed and a maximum of 3 people can stay in the room.
Shopping Tip:
A free shuttle bus service is scheduled every 30 minutes from the hotel to the Central MTR station. When you are in the Central MTR station, you can go to different places by riding the MTR trains (e.g. Disneyland, Mongkok Shopping Places, Victoria Peak etc.)
