Very Nice Hotel for couples

our stay at l’hotel niña et convention center was really nice (march 23-26, 2012) ! the price for the room was really worth it considering that we got it at a really big discount. the harbour view was really spectacular especially at night! i highly recommend this hotel for couples. it has two swimming pools at the 9th floor. it’s a pity that i was not able to swim believing that the water is too cold. it was on the last day of our stay that i discovered that their indoor pool is heated. tsk tsk… its location is accessible. it’s a walking distance from the tsuen wan west mtr station. nearby tsuen wan plaza and city walk malls really helped in looking for our food. great place!

If you are looking for a tourist hotel it is a long way to Tsim Sha Tsui or Hong Kong Island. Rooms are on the 41st floor and upwards requiring two elevators. Lobby is always crowded as the hotel seems to be the cross border bus station.

I was stay with my family ( four people ) in this hotel. the room is big,clean, the wash room big, clean, complete. I get the room with nice view, sea, mountain, and the town. In the night we saw the city light.We have the room in 35 th floor, they have many lift, so not wait too long .They have free internet at the lobby, shuttle bus to airport ( with some price ), taxi, that easy stay in this hotel.
We will back in this hotel next time.

i stayed 3 days with them and then went to singapore for work meetings then returned for the second part of my work trip in hk and stayed in the l'hotel and was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. the new room was quiet and away from most of the tourists travellers. the service was excellent and the front desk was very attentive and spoke excellent english.
Shopping Tip:
there are 3 shopping malls very close by: city walk, city walk2, and tsuen wan shopping mall. there is also a street market just outside the hotel. the mtr (2 choices) is a 5-10 min walk away.

the rooms are good sized; in addition to the pros above.
minor cons:
- internet not free and no wifi
- glass wall shower area may not be suitable for family stay
- for upper floors, have to change elevator at floor 47

Great Hotel in a good location

i am very satisfied with this hotel, and i definitely will stay there again. i booked a standard room in tower 1 through agoda, but the hotel upgrade to executive room in the corner in tower 2 on 46 floor (way better), and they allow me to check in on 10.30 am. a big room with 1 king size bed and 1 extra single bed, dining table with 4 chairs, spacious wardrobes, small refrig, 47 inch lcd tv, big bathroom. a nice city view from the bathtub.
the receptionist was very helpful, when i need to fax something to a travel agent in hong kong they gave me free of charge.
a big outdoor and indoor swimming pool & great gym on 9 floor. what a great harbour view from lobby at 41 floor.
they provide about 10 computers with free internet access on the ground floor lobby.
the hotel surround by 3 big shopping malls and local small shops, many local restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, mc. donald and 7eleven, hsbc, money changer.
only 5 minutes walk to tsuen wan west mtr, and only 4 stations to east tsim tsa tsui mtr (hk$9 one way). about 20 minutes from airport by taxi.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Symphony of lights from Avenue of star everynight on 8PM (weather permitted) is recommended, it is free.

The hotel is conveniently located, though a bit far away from downtown. It is only 5 min. away from the Tsuen Wan West Railway station.
The attitude of the staff and the services is good. The view is good as well on upper floor.
However, no wifi is available in the room

Ok Hotel
Price compared to rest of Hong Kong.

Ok hotel, with a beautiful view. Very good selection of tv channels. About a 10 - 15 minute walk to the Tsuen Wan West train station, and about a 20 minute walk to the Tsuen Wan station. Good cheap shuttle bus service to Kowloon from lobby (but only at designated times(not 24 hr)).
Room was a little on the cool side though, and the house maid would turn the thermostat right down (15 degrees celcius) each day after we had it turned up! Our room was uncarpeted also.
Reception was not what you'd expect of a classy hotel (quite plain with no windows). Major Chinese group tour caterer, with loud polluting buses pulling right up to lobby entrance constantly, big groups always sitting/hanging around in lobby area. Hotel laundry service was $15HK a handkerchief, and laundries were almost non existant in close proximity to hotel.
Probably won't stay here if we were to come back again - just too far from Hong Kong island - about 1 hour travel time from room to island (using trains and walking).
