Good Location

Smell in the room not so nice

Overall it is guite a good hotel , good location and if possible when visit HK will stay this hotel again.

Shopping Tip : This hotel is agood location for shopping.

All of what you'd expect from a high class hotel in the middle of town!

Room was a bit smaller than what I'd expected, but not to the point of being cramped.

This was the last leg of a two week jaunt through China and it was certainly a welcome change. Everything about this hotel was welcoming...from the desk clerks all the way to the bellhops. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants a nice place to stay without all the hassles.

Shopping Tip : Its a hop skip and a jump from all of Monkok's main attractions. The restaurants are all within walking distance, and so are the subway lines.

I'd stayed at Langham Hotel before when it first opened some years ago. At that time my family and I were impressed with its location, the clean and plush rooms and the services the hotel provided, amongst which was a free dvd library. During my stay in May 2009, we still loved the location of the hotel and the buzz of Mongkok. The service was still warm and friendly. However, the rooms are starting to show signs of age - there was mould in the bathroom, particularly on the blind shielding the bath from the main room. Some fixtures and fittings were chipped and discoloured, detracting from the 5 star feel. We also noticed that the lobby had a strong perfume smell at all times which is good at masking out any bad odours but for persons who are sensitive to strong perfume, it will be slightly uncomfortable. However, that is a minor gripe. The main con is the mould in the bathroom, which for cleanliness freaks like me, is a big no-no.
