This has got to be my favourite hotel in Hong Kong, perfect location for after meetings. There's so much food around the district that you'll never feel hungry. At the same time, the busy streets enable you to always find something for your loved ones.
Travel tip:
Try the tortoise shell jelly (gui ling gao) right next to the hotel. or for a taste of where the locals eat, head to Tsui Wah located right opposite the hotel as well.

This review will be on buffet breakfast since there are many reviews on other aspects of the hotel. I like the buffet breakfast. Variety consists of at least 15 bakery items which are buttery and delicious. Salad bar with smoked salmon, herb crusted ham, smoked ham, tomato, frisee, romaine lettuce, etc & 3 types of salad dressings. 5 types of cheese with crackers. Egg station. Western breakfast station rotated daily, consists of ham, bacon, french toast, baked beans, mushroom, hash brown, grilled tomato, sausages, fish fillet, etc. 5 types of Cereal with dried fruits & seeds. Sushi fridge consists of a few variety of sushi & cold soba. chinese porridge with a few condiments. muesli with berries & fruit compote, nuts, etc. 4 or 5 fruit juices(from concentrates, not the fresh ones). yakult, fruits(green & red apples, bananas, dragon fruit, papaya, melon, watermelon, pineapple). indian roti with dhal / vege curry(too salty for me). 4 or 5 dim sum items daily (Char Siew Bao, Har gow, Lobak Go, siew loong bao, etc). Capuccino, latte, coffee, tea, honey. Jams consists of strawberry, blackcurrent, marmalade, etc. Overall, everything is tasty except for the indian curries which are a bit too salty for me and the scramble eggs which are too bland for me. I especially like the butter croissant which was so buttery, the muesli which was very tasty, and the smoked salmon salad. Tasted almost everything during my stay except for the breads & cereals.

langham mall has everything! from starbucks, toastbox (awesome eggs) to seibu which stocks makeup frm every brand i can think of!

The room was neat and tidy but nothing to remember. Seriously Hong Kong is just stupid expensive. The Hotel restaurant is so overpriced I can't begin to tell you. The alternatives aren't much better next door in the shopping center. I won't stay here again. The area is very local and it is hard getting around. Boring area, stay elsewhere. I had business next door in the Office Tower and that is the only reason I would ever return if I had an urgent meeting I had to fly in for, not by choice.

You Get What You Pay For!

hong kong is expensive in any currency. this hotel has small but neat rooms. they all seem to have a glass window from the bathrooms to the bedroom giving the room a 'bigger' feel but it isn't. i'm not into watching my partner on the toilet so this was closed as soon as we arrived. the bed was comfortable and i had a really good sleep. the rooms are quite, we were on the 23rd floor.
the food in the hotel is expensive and reasonable quality. if you have read any of my other reviews you know my pet hate is having to pay for 'extras' like breakfast and wifi. i'm very much into the package deals, this was not a hotel offering more than wifi on one type of room. it was a little confusing, when booking it had 'free wifi' but when i arrived they said i need to have stayed 3 nights in a row. watch the fine print. overall it was comfortable, i was there for business and it went well so that made for a happier trip.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The Langham Place Shopping center is ok, you can pretty much look around in a few hours. Hong Kong was once the shopping capitol of the world, not so much these days.

i liked the overall atmosphere of the hotel and the location was pretty good as well. not the best sound isolation from the hallway, but it wasn't particularly bad either. the room did have a strange smell when i would return after a few hours about town and the ac was turned off though.

Room size is too small. Handy location. 24 hours gym access is good. Service is good. Late check out is a plus. Price appears to be high. I have previously stayed by buying a package at $1600 with free room upgarde and breakfasts included.
