A Great Experience Once Again
Beautiful designed, fantastic service, great location, good food.

Front desk was efficient, concierge services were excellent, well cleaned rooms, nicely stocked with amenities especially for use with the kitchenette. Close walking distance to MRT and Times Square without the noise level at the hotel so evenings are "quieter" then most parts of Causeway Bay.
Definitely will continue staying there on my visits to Hong Kong.

Lovely and quiet hotel

This is our second time to stay at Lanson Place. We chose to come back due to the reasonable price, the rooms are modern and clean, and the friendly and helpful staff. The location of the hotel is a bit far from the shopping and restaurants; we had to walk for about 10-15 minutes, but that's ok. We also had to show the taxi driver the card and map for the exact location because not all of them are familiar. Besides, the hotel has no Chinese name. If you would mention that the hotel is just opposite the Indonesian embassy, it would help. We chose this hotel because of less crowd and it is more exclusive and quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be near the shopping areas and restaurants.

Use the Octopus card to move around. It's convenient, faster and much cheaper than taking a taxi

Business boutique hotel with great service

As a young family with two kids (3 and 1 yr old), we were a looking for a decent hotel on the HK-island side with a kitchenette and a good-sized room within out budget. Even though this hotel targeted businesspeople, we felt it suited us on paper, so we decided to try it out. And we did not regret it!
Firstly what really stood out during out stay was the exemplary attitude and service of the hotel staff. They were helpful with all aspects of our stay, so we felt well looked after.
The area where we checked in was connected to the lounge and dining area, as well as the library and the "business zone". There was ample space for the kids to run around whilst we were checking in. They also had some children's books for the kids to flip through.
Our room was relatively spacious compared to many HK hotels rooms we've stayed in. The set-up was business-oriented with a desk in the bedroom and a lounge area with a couch and sofa chair, but we were able to move most of the furniture around to suit our needs. We were able to set up 2 cots for the kids, and there was still space to move around comfortably.
The kitchenette had a microwave, stove and mini-fridge, allowing us to store and heat up food and milk for the kids. There were ample crockery and utensils, and the hotel even provided us with complimentary almond cookies.
The only drawback I found was that the bathroom provided inadequate privacy should hotel staff come in or if your partner let's them in for whatever reason (eg. cleaners, catering). Due to the way it's set up, hotel staff could easily see into the bathroom as they walk into the hotel room. So a word of advice if you don't want to be caught with your pants down: don't forget to indicate "do not disturb" sign and lock the door if you're taking a shower or bog.

most taxi drivers can't locate this hotel as it's main entrance is not facing the main road but a quiet street. concierge was excellent. when they saw us heading to the hotel, two men came hurrying out to the street to help with our luggage and baby stroller. checking in was fast and we were upgraded to a large suite! the room was very spacious for hk standard. love the layout of the room. my daughter have plenty of space to roam around. there's a kitchenette which makes it very convenient for family travellers. sogo, wtc and times square is just few minutes walk from the hotel. plenty of restaurants and shops nearby too. we requested an empty box from the concierge as our shopping couldn't fit into our luggage anymore. in minutes, they gave us a good quality new box and delivered to our room. am so impressed for their efficiency. overall, a highly recommended hotel.
Travel tip:
If taxi drivers can't find this hotel, just tell them it's located opposite the Indonesian embassy.

a great experience once again

minutes away from great food, the mtr and times square. the property is located in a quieter part of town so noise levels are low considering that its in proximity to much human and transportation traffic. room is extremely comfortable and for the price it is a much better bet then any of the international 5 star hotels.

We booked on the internet a few hours before arriving. At that time the booked room turned out not to be available and we were upgraded without any hesitation. The staff was very friendly and super helpful. We only stayed for one night.
Restaurant Tip:
If you want to eat fish: go to Sai Kung. Very nice to go for a boat ride, too.
