Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Friendly hotel in Hong Kong
4.7
We would most probably stay here again and recommend it to fellow-travellers. We are actually staying here again in a few days' time on our way back to Australia.
Shopping Tip:
Take the MTR to Mong Kok and although there are cheap clothing shops there, the quality is not very good but there is a modern multi-level shopping centre here that is excellent for quality and for prices. Can't remember the name though.

Easy to walk to Mongkok Markets
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Take the tour of Hong Kong Island - it is 320 HK$ but really gets you oriented

Small - But its what you do with it...

Mongkok Markets don't really get going until evening, spend the day in Tsim Sha Tsui and evening in Mongkok.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
If you have never been, take the tour of Hong Kong Island. Take the subway over and any major hotel will sell you a packaged tour. It is about HK$320 ($40 US) but you get a good understanding of the history and a launching point for further activities.

Largos
room is clean and comfortable.
7.3
I like the fact that the room is clean and comfortable. No thrills. Convenient location. I recommended this to a lot of my colleaques. I would stay in this hotel again. I didn't try the food there so I cannot really offer any rating in this area. Not a fancy hotel but is practical.

For the size of the room, I wouldn't say it's worth the money. the service wasn't particularly great either.

We actually have 2 choices on where to stay in Hong Kong. Our first choice was really Stanford Hotel because it's near Mongkok area where the ladies market is located but then we finally decided to stay at Largos Hotel because it's the center of Kowloon especially because we are planning to go to Disneyland and Ocean Park. I don't have any complaints about the hotel as the room is clean and from the reviews that I have read about hotel rooms in Hong Kong being so small, I'm pretty much contented with the size of it. Sure it was small but enough for 2 person who just needs a place to stay without compromising the cleanliness and the comfort that you get from a hotel. And the best thing about this hotel is that fast service, whenever we call the operator for some help, someone attended to our needs right away. The hotel also has a good location as it's really near the Jordan MTR station Exit B2, It's an advantage especially because it's been raining for 3 days during our 5 days stay. You can also leave your baggage at the lobby after you checked out if you have a late flight. Overall, our stay in Largos Hotel is pretty much okay, I can't say it's superb because we didn't actually stayed in a 5 star hotel but it was worth the money we paid for.
Shopping Tip:
The Largos hotel is near the Temple street where Men's market is located which was disappointing because I wasn't able to buy anything. But you can walk Nathan Road where a lot of shops are located.
