Great Hotel, Returning Guest
Free Wifi, Free Breakfast, Great Location
10
After staying for five nights, we decide to extend our booking a few more days because we loved it here so much. Very convenient in terms of location, the WiFi is very fast, and the staff is great too. You're able to leave luggage at the front desk for a fee if overnight, or free if just during the day. Really can't complain. Free bottles of water every day, I suggest taking them!

lovely hotel and service with a smile

it would have been better if the coffin shops were situated eslewhere.
everything else was fine.
Shopping Tip:
very convenient as it is near the modern shopping malls and also the night market, short walking distance to the MTR exits/entrances and bustops.

Rooms are small, but great otherwise
Location, Free Breakfast, Free fast wifi
9.7
Great hotel in a great location. Subway is right at the base of the hotel, it's fantastic. Wifi was fast and breakfast in the morning was much better than expected for a free meal. They allow you to leave luggage overnight (small fee) or until your flight that same day (free). I would recommend to anybody, price and location are a steal. Rooms are a bit tiny, but I'm sure you don't expect to spend too much time in the hotel anyways!
Hotel Feature Tip:
Free wifi

Great location but small rooms with bathroom

Great location, Convenient Public Transport, Very near to many Shopping and Dinning Area. Very small rooms, not enough space for bigger luggage. Cleanliness is good. Can be noisy if someone is chatting at the lift lobby. Breakfast is good but fewer selections. Staff Service is good.

Much better than expected! -read on!!
Location! Bright! Modern! Well run! Delicious buffet Breakfast!
8.3
Remember you are in Asia please! Once you have done that, your expectations will be exceeded by M1 hotel. The rooms are bigger than many others, the service was very good (we changed rooms for a double bed) and the facilities were great, the free breakfast buffet was great (but dont try and take anything with you out from the buffet, big no no here). Its clean and modern, and under-rated. Yes the cost is higher in Hong Kong for a hotel room (accept this), but over all very safe and good value for money, with WiFi 5 times faster than at home! Good service, good location, would return again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Ask the Taxi to take you to the MTR station called Yao Ma Tei (around the corner from the hotel in Portland Street) cause not all of the taxi drivers know M1 Hotel.
