The best hotel I've ever stayed in Hong Kong. Staffs are friendly, room was modern, clean, nice and comfy.. The room was quite big if compare to Hong Kong standard and surprisingly there's a Jacuzzi bathtub.. Location wise, just 5 mins walk to subway station. Supermarket nearby too.. easy for us to stock up our drinks during the stay. We love this hotel and enjoy staying here, will definitely come back again for our next trip.

New hotel in Great Location

this is a new boutique hotel. towels are new and clean. all toiletries are provided in the room. deluxe room size is good. airport bus a21 is located 5 min walk from the hotel. food, shopping, night market, mtr (jordan) are located within few min walk.
the only negative comment i have staying in this hotel is the service level. the staffs in the hotel do not wear a smile. they are not passionate in serving customer.
in addition, i hope the management can look into the condition/quality of the extra bed provided. paying for the extra bed for 3rd person in the room is not worth at all! the quality of the extra bed is way below expectation. the mattress is uneven, thus after sleeping on it for 3 nights, i had a backache!

Small Rooms, Crap Wet Room Bathrooms, OK Location

The worst feature was the crappy Wet Room Bathrooms. It just makes it so dirty, and the vanity/basin they used.. looks so old and dirty. Not a fan of the bathroom AT ALL.
Had two single beds, they could've given us at least a KING SINGLE... It's a holiday, and I didn't get a good nights sleep. Possibly due to a constant issue they had with the air con unit in our room. Was ridiculous. HK is hot as it is, but the air con would blow out hot air at night, making me sweat to death and have to wake up. Or - another night, where the temperature we set was 25degrees, and it'll somehow just become 16 degrees, so we're freezing to death.
All in all, not happy.
Travel tip:
Try to stay near TST, near Granville, Kimberley St. Awesome location there.

Enjoyed our stay at Madera. We had been looking for a new location that was right along Nathan Road and we were very pleased with our new discovery. The hotel is very, very new - opened just this March - so it has a brand new feel to all the rooms. Furthermore, the staff are very warm and hospitable.
