- convenient location
- good size rooms I have not stayed in this hotel before but heard a lot of good things about it so we decided to check it out. The location was great and accessible to all sorts of public transport in HK. However, as soon as we checked in, everything went downhill.
- I specifically asked for a room with a queen sized bed but when we entered the room we found two single bed. I called up reception and they explained that they ran out of room and will let me know once they have one available the next day. It would have been nice if we were told about this when we checked in rather than finding out when we got to the room.
- The next day, we were not informed whether or not a room with a big bed is available.
- When we checked out, we were waiting in line when the lady who was helping organize people checking in and checking out, instructed another couple to cut the line right in front of us. We ended up waiting really long and almost missed our flight.

Breakfast is nice, good restaurants. Hotel with no charm, you can't feel like at home.
General atmosphere is dark and cold. Too expensive for what they have to offer. Every details showing they don't care about customers comfort (no international electric plug, mini bar has noodles cup but there's no fork, spoon or chopsticks available, sleepers are sized for children, ...).

I prefer to stay at this hotel, it's good location for transportation both of more facilities. However, I will stay at here again.

it was a wonderful experience. we got a special offer to upgrade to the continental club, which include breakfast, afternoon tea, evening cocktail, laundry ... various kinds of service. the location is also great! easily walk to the shopping area and MTR. very nice and friendly service. great view as well. highly recommend for couples.

Old rooms The stay was decent at Marco Polo but it didn't meet my expectation although it's good for businessmen but the rooms are kind of old with old appliances and fixtres so i won't consider it for honeymooners although staff were friendly and tried to do thier best. It's near to all transportation means such as star ferry, macau ferry and the metro which can take you to all the famous places in Keolon and Hong Kong Island

Location, Location, Location Very strict with its late check out policy The location is the very first thing you considered when you book a room in any of the marco polo hotels in HK. You can practically find everything that you want to buy right from the moment you step out from the hotel lobby.

Convenient location, quick and friendly service. My family have stayed at Marco Polo Hong Kong hotel for so many years. So, I have been to this hotel several times already since I was a kid. The main reasons that make us come back to Marco polo Hong Kong Hotel are first of all the very convenient location. Everything is in easy reach from the hotel, Star Ferry, subway, delicious restaurants and of course, the shopping mall. Actually, it has everything that I need in the same area. Moreover, the hotel is always in a very good condition and the service is always good.
Restaurant Tip : I had dined in one of the hotel restaurant and found to be really good. However, if you want more of local feel, there are many restaurants that are a short walk away from the hotel.

- too many stairs The location of this hotel can't be beat. It is right at the Kowloon Star ferry terminal for easy access to Hong Kong. For shopping you are right in the heart of the best shopping in Hong Kong.
The staff are very pleasant & make you feel right at home.
Although the room are very clean. The 1950's sytle decor in desparate need of an upgrade.
be prepared for stairs in the lobby and on the upper floors that makes getting your luggage to and from your room next to impossible without the assistance of the staff.
Hotel Feature Tip : Upgrade to the Club floors to get an extra dose of pampering and comfort & a feel for Colonial Hong Kong.

Great location for shopping and what Kowloon has to offer poor lobby - in fact no lobby and more like an enterance to shopping mall. No place for taxi to pull up outside. Hotel a little dated and although my room room was large (alleged deluxe) it lacked character and warmth. Should you get a discount on room price - its good value for money. Full price - too much to pay and better standard hotels nearby !

Very good location.
I love their pillows and blanket... very comfy. More expensive than other Marco Polo. I love this hotel location. It's next to Lane Crawford, Hermes, Chanel, everything! Cross the street you have Dior, etc.
I upgrade the room to suite. The rate is very reasonable. I got free breakfast and afternoon tea with all kind of drinks you want. I really enjoy the Champaign!!
And the bed is perfect. Pillows ans blanket is extremely comfortable.
There are tvs both in living room and bedroom, so we don't have to fight for remote control. When you close the door between living room and bedroom, you won't hear the sound of another tv! That's perfect!
Oh, and the map they provide, it's a very good map. You can easily go to anywhere in Hong Kong!
I have to repeat next time!

- its so near the shopping mall of Ocean Terminal and Harbour City
- i love the smell of the hotel This is the first time I've stayed in Marco Polo HK hotel. I didn't realize that it was nearer the shops I like. When you go down the elevator you'd reach Lane Crawford right away. It's even near the Star Ferry terminal and going to HK side is just a boat ride away. I love it.
Restaurant Tip : For breakfast, Mc Donald's is just around the corner.

There is a good location on this hotel. There are shopping malls that interact the costumers of this hotel to shop and walk. The shopping malls are very near. No view for some of the rooms. (ONLY SEE THE CAR PARK BUILDING) This is a very good hotel that have a good location, view, shopping mall and much more. There are good shopping malls around it which makes it attractive to the costumers that come stay at this hotel to shop all day long without getting bored since it is a very big shopping mall and is close to the hotel.
Restaurant Tip : There are good restaurants around the hotel which is very yummy such as the restaurant called "Sweet Dynasty" this restaurant is a Chinese style food and snack restaurant.

The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable. It's located on Canton Road which has many shops and luxury products also. The staff was very nice and polite. Paying for a room at that price, things such as internet should be free instead of $30/hr. After staying at the Marco Polo, I would say it would be one of the hotels I would book again next time if I visit Hong Kong. I would recommended my friend to stay at this place. Booking via Agoda is somehow much cheaper but you have to pay in advance. Booking on their website and calling them was around 50% more expensive.
Hotel Feature Tip : Booking via Agoda is much cheaper than to go on the hotel website or calling them.

Location, Service, Food, Price. Small Lobby. No place to meet with business associates in the lobby. The Hotel is very good with a very competitive price. Very well located in a commercial area not to far from the airport and the border with China. The hotel service should receive high marks in many respects, in the front desk, concierge, room service and the quality of the food, especially the breakfast menu, which is superb. A definitive recommendation for anyone traveling to Hong Kong. I would stay again.
