Most of the staff was professional and helpful. The bellboys were very sweet, 95% of the time the doors would be opened for you. If you needed a taxi, they would do the work to catch one. Standard rooms were a bit small, but functional enough. Beds were very comfortable, loved the comforter :)

Awkwardly placed vanity. Too far from the only outlets that you could plug the hair dryer into. Made it difficult to use the mirror when blow drying or using other hot tools.

Overall our stay at the Metropark Hotel Causeway Bay was pleasant. The service was pretty good, the staff was friendly and professional. It's in a fairly convenient location, just a block from the Tin Hau MTR station and pretty close to the tramways as well. My only gripe is that there are no outlets in the bathroom and the ones near the vanity are too far away and make it difficult to utilize the vanity mirror when blow drying etc... The maids may have been stealing my mother's dental floss specific for bridges because every time she would open a new package, a couple days later it would disappear and couldn't be found anywhere. Strange since it was such an inconsequential item. However, this could be due to other factors and not theft, so you should not worry. Just thought I should make a note of the experience. Overall a good hotel. Clean, comfortable and convenient.

Restaurant Tip : Go where it seems busy. It means they have good food :)

I had a beautiful room overlooking the harbour. The room was of a high standard and extremely well maintained. The staff at the reception where friendly, efficient and most helpful.

None

The hotel is located in a good position in Causeway Road. Taxi's etc where easily obtained which facilitated your transportation needs. The hotel room was excellent with a great view over the harbour, The swimming pool on the roof top is small but adequate with a hot tub also available. The view is excellent. The food / breakfast was reasonable but good be improved upon. Overall excellent experience and I would recommend this hotel.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Worth taking to the Turbojet to Macau and seeing the Venetian casino. Make sure to take your passport and lots of money!!!!

- gave you a power key that you could keep the power on to run the air con/fan to freshen up the room. - a 15 min walk from Causeway Bay - price vs. quality was good. - complimentary Broadband internet and afternoon cocktail

very musty smell due to dampness.

Overall was a decent stay. 2 blocks away from Tian Hau MTR exit / entrance, 5 min walk from Public Library, 15 min walk from Causeway Bay shopping (Sogo, Ikea, lots of shops), 20 min away from Time Square shopping. The Price vs. quality was decent to good. Big bonus was the complimentary Broadband internet and afternoon cocktail (though we failed to get back in time for cocktails).

Very friendly and helpful staff. Better than some hotels costing treble. Good location away from the bustle. Clean. I would certainly go back again. All the staff were superb.

We noticed only cold water in the shower after 10am. It was warm again on 2 of the 4 evenings we stayed after 6pm. The breakfast buffet was a bit plain. Be careful with the hotel bus to the airport, we got stuck in traffic for 40mins and had less time than we would have liked at the airport.

On arrival we were checked in quickly and our bag taken to our room. The room was very clean and comfortable with a double bed. The hair dryer is in a drawer which is part of the desk top. A major plus for getting about is the location of the Tin Hau underground station, out of the hotel turn right and straight ahead on the other side of the main road. You have to walk round the junction to get to it. A good little buisness suite is available with access to the internet (free) and printing costs are cheap. Vics Bar in the hotel was small but comfortable with very swift service but a limited menu.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Tin Hau underground station entrance 50 yards from hotel, not easy to see on the other side of the main road.

Efficient, clean, lovely rooms (especially the ones with the HK central view) Free internet in each room. Taxi rank outside. Shuttle bus service and metro a stonesthrow away. Nice roof top pool and lounge area

Room service are a little bit over eager. hey could do with chilling out a bit when there is a DND sign on the hangar!

I stayed there a couple of times recently and will do so again. This hotel is really in the best location - not too expensive and well situated for shopping and exploring alike. It must have one of the best views in downtown HK and is within easy reach of all forms of transport. Provides great free internet and is genuinely a very friendly and well-run hotel. Lovely designed building, fast lifts, good bathrooms and there is a 24 hour store right outside - and even a bar which shows the UK football (soccer) leagues!

Very well located for MTR, constant stream of taxis outside and well-staffed with friendly, helpful, English speaking staff.

Internet connection is servicable but not up to streaming TV - that's 'thin criticism' : )

I really like this hotel and will stay there again. The Food is good and the staff are genuinely friendly. The water pressure in the showers is great and there is a fine roof-top pool and gym. You are two minutes walk from the MTR (Metro) and there is a 24 hour shop just outside the front of the hotel. If you want to go for a run or get some space, Victoria Park is almost right outside and just on the other side of the park you can grab a tram to central for $2HK The best and nicest thing of all is the view - over the bay and central, Peak Hill. Surely one of the best located hotels in Hong Kong for this simple reason. I am a already a big fan of the Metropark, Causeway Bay!

Hotel Feature Tip : The stupendous view! And free internet in every room.

Free internet, near the park and metro

None

I really like the metropark causeway bay hotel and have stayed there four times in recent weeks. It is very near to the park and has some space around it. There is free internet of a reasonable standard in every room and a very nice rooftop swimming pool with a gym. Each guest at the metropark causeway bay hotel gets a complimentary drink in the bar, where one can suffer the insane screeching of visiting businessmen, performing the un-aenesthetised open-ear surgery they call 'Kareoke'. At least the room walls are thick enough to mask that!. The Metorpark Causeway bay hotel has a wonderful picture-postcard view of central HK and is ideally situated for the tube to central and the main tram line. I will stay there again!

Numerous. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff, convenient location for Hong Kong's best sights, ease of grabbing a taxi. Breathtaking view of Western side of Kowloon harbour and Hong Kong CBD

The 'broadband' internet connection *could* have been a little faster, but it was adequate.

The Metropark is a well designed, clean and thouroughly well-kept Hotel, just to the East of Hong Kong's main drag. There is a MTR (Metro) station less than 5 minutes walk away and taxis flow constantly past the front of the hotel - despite this the road upon which the Metropark is situated is not congested. There is a nice rooftop gallery with pool and a gym, both with staggering views over the city. Rooms are clean and spacious and well equipped and room service is efficient. I shall certainly stay here again.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Why bother with Taxis at all when the metro is right next door! Why let yourself pay through the nose for teh minibar, etc, when there is a 24 hour strore right outside the front of the hotel!

The standard of service here is always high, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

The business centre has only two computers for the use of guests, which is insufficient bearing in mind how much use people now make of computers in order to remain in touch. Several guests, including myself, often gave up waiting for a computer to become free for their use. In addition, I could not obtain a print out because, I was told, the printer was not working.

The room was spacious and a bowl of fruit welcomed me. I was impressed with the swimming pool on the roof of the hotel. The introduction of a 30% discount on meals taken by residents in the Cafe Du Parc is an added bonus, especially as the food served there is of a high standard. This hotel continues to impress me each time I stay.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : There is an excellent Vietnamese restaurant a few yards down the road from the hotel.

The hotel is very modern, clean and staff are all very friendly. Only a few minutes walk from MTR and 10 minutes walk to Causeway Bay main shopping area.

Side street location

I stayed on the executive floor which meant I had access to the lounge on the 29th floor. Great view of the city and the bay. The staff were very friendly and professional - they address you by name and remember your favorite drink. The room I stayed in was big and well equipped - apart from the usual bad hairdryer that hotels like to specialize in. Not good if you are on business though and need to get a taxi. It's location on a side street means taxis are few and far between in rush hour. One morning I waited 40 minutes for a cab.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hop on the tram to see the island

easy access to a station of the metro; extensive prospect of a park, school and seaside; weighing machine :D

Most tourist spots are not within walking distance.

We stayed this hotel during this New Year's break. The room we stayed was not so large but very comfortable for us. As there is a shopping section near this hotel, it is easy to find a convenience store, small supermarket and some food shops. When we travel to Hong Kong next time, we'd like to stay this hotel again.

Shopping Tip : We found some cafes on Electric Rd and ate chinese delicious dessert there almost every nigth.

Easy to get to, clean, friendly, good facilities.

Not totally in the centre of Causeway Bay (but maybe this is a good thing)

Metropark Causeway Bay is actually located very near to Tin Hau MTR station, so not exactly Causeway bay. However it is still a great, convenient location, even if it isn't right in the centre of things. The staff were all very polite and friendly. The rooms was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent with aa huge range of food (plenty of options for vegetarians). A great hotel.

Restaurant Tip : Fantasy vegetarian restuarnt at 66 Electric Rd, just nearby.
