Hotel is within an acceptable distance of the subway and train stations but I can imagine for some people a 15 minutes walk to the closest MTR sation is a little to far

We didn't dine at the restaurants in our hotel, so I can't give a rating.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The MTR was primarily our main transportation when we were in Hong Kong. I find it really convenient and easy to get from one destination to the next. In addition, a map of the city with all the tourist attractions will be a great aid. Remember to grab them before you exit the HK airport or ask the reception for one when you checked in.

Overall a good hotel and I would stay there again - but hope they improve the breakfast buffet in the mean time.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Ladies Night Market nearby. Get an Octopus card early in your HK visit. Can be bought at 7-11 and used for Airport Express, MTR, Star Ferry, Fast Food and almost everything except the taxi's. Agoda Service is unbeatable. Have used Agoda a dozen times and have been impressed with their service.

Transfers to and from the airport was fast, reliable and convenient via the Airport Express train and FREE #K6 bus connection at Kowloon Station. Check in baggage and get boarding pass at Kowloon to avoid line up at airport. Bus stops in front of the hotel less than 30-minute frequency.
Also love the free shuttle from hotel to Mongkok and Tsinshatsui at convenient dropoff and pick up points.
Overall, Metropark gives good value for the first time visitor to HKG, and to those who appreciate clean, safe, better than basic accomodation in Kowloon.
Hotel Feature Tip : Hotel staff knowledgeable and courteous at all times. Hotel within easy access to main shopping areas via the free hotel shuttle. Fast, reliable hassle-free connections to/from HK Intl Airport available via the Airport Express train and bus transfer at Kowloon Station. Overall, I would recommend Metropark Kowloon to any visitor who is looking for great value.

While not located very close to hot shopping spot, it takes only 10 minutes walk to be in the heart of the shopping: worth it considering the price of the hotel.
