I would use this hotel for all my future travel into HK, the rooms a big, clean compared to the newer hotels in HK.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It is very close to night market, and other location.

good location, a few minutes walk from street market. no ironing facilities in room all in all a decent hotel in a good overall location, close to 5 mins walk to many cafe"s and restaurants about 8 mins from street market,prepare to barter for a good bargain.the hotel room was clean and adaquate,this room was on the business level, so cant comment on any other type.
Shopping Tip : good outdoor street market a few minutes walk away

clean room, has everything you need they have a shuttle bus however the driver does not tell u where to walk to nor where to get the bus to come back to the hotel Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : peek tram take the subway at mong kok to central and follow the signs to the peek tram, also take the subway at mongkok and change for the orange line take that to the last stop and do the cable car

Excellent location, friendly staff. Clean room. Rooms quite dark, not much natural light. Right in the heart of Hong Kong and surrounded by all necessary ameneties. A good choice for business travelers as you're close to Central, Wanchai offices.

Excellent restuarants.
Free local shuttle service.
Good reception & porter staff. Very little to dislike regarding this hotel. The initial contact with the hotel at the Hong Kong International Airport was most helpful which enabled an easy transfer by coach to thje Hotel in Kowloon. The reception staff at the Metropark, Kowloon were conversant in English as were the porter staff and the signing in process was accomplished without difficulty. We found the Sip Sip bar an excellent place to relax and the bar staff most effecient. The first floor restuarant provided good menus for breakfast, lunch & dinner and again the staff ensured we understood fully what we required for those meals.
Shopping Tip : Very close and accessable to markets and other shopping precints.

Clean room, courteous staff, free shuttle bus, clean environment within the hotel lobby and reception area and nearby shops. If there is no free shuttle bus service, it's very inconvenient because it's not very near the MTR. I would recommend friends to stay in this hotel as the hotel rate is reasonable, clean room, courteous and helpful staffs. Especially with the free shuttle bus service provider to destinated MTR. If it's situated nearby walking distance MTR would be a perfect hotel location for all guests. Happy with my stay and luckily was not disappointed with the hotel finally. Thank you.

Very helpful staff, clean rooms, lovely pool. hallways need cleaning, the surrounding area is not very pleasant at night. We arrived at this hotel after a trip to macau. The hotel itself had a large lobby, very well kept. There is a business area with internet access too. There is a decent size rooftop swimming pool also. The rooms are small but nice and clean. The main drawback was the surrounding area, which was full of homeless people and the atmosphere was not great, compared to kowloon, which is vibrant at all times of the day. It is a shame as the hotel itself is great for a short stay, but not as luxurious as other hotels in the city centre or kowloon.

The hotel location was very good, with good transport links to most places. The shuttle bus service provided was very useful with good access to the markets in Kowloon as well as the MTR stations. The rooms were modern and clean, the hotel in general was very good. Rooms were quite small compared to what was described on the website. No other real complaints. Myself and 7 other friends stayed at the Metropark Hotel Kowloon for 2 nights are were throughly pleased with our stay. The hotel's location was very good, with easy transport links to Hong Kong island, the markets in Kowloon and also was veyr easy to get to from the airport using the airport express. The ferry terminal was to Macau was also close if travelling by taxi and so travel was very simple. The hotel itself was very good value for money, with the rooms being very comfortable. However, the rooms were quite small but this was not a great problem because we were not spending great amounts of time in the hotel. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay there and would definitely recommend the hotel to others planning to visit Hong Kong.
Nightlife Tip : Beijing Club in Lan Kwai Fong was definitely a highlight of the nightlife in Hong Kong. Definitely worth checking out if looking for a decent nightclub.

Unfriendliness of the staffs.
Bellboys and concierge dont even bother open doors for us and when they saw us, they just continued talking
Old rooms and corridor of the roooms have a smell. Althought it is located within 10 mins walk from Mongkok, the staffs in this hotel needs to pull up their socks. Be more friendly upon checkin as it is the first point of contact. Checked in @ 1130pm and they staffs showed a face which was so unfriendly.

the lights in the room can be brighter Actualli i remembered booking for metropark mongkok, so i went to mongkok's first, to found out that we got the wrong hotel (this is our first visit to HK, so i thought kowloon n mongkok is the same area), but the receptionist there quite nice, and helped us write the right address (in chinese) for us to give to taxi driver.
the hotel quite nice, despite the fact that i thing the lighting in the room is a bit less..so it kinda looked gloomy in a way... next time i'll try the one in mongkok,cos it's right on mongkok street,we don't need to take taxi..
Shopping Tip : about 5 mins trip by taxi to mongkok...

sometimes can hear people next door this is the second time i am staying in the hotel. It was a pleasant stay with the basic needs met. night markets are close by within walking distance.
there are some local hong kong restaurants selling local meals with very reasonable price. there is also a supermarket oppposite which makes it very convinent to shop for any drink or food.
be aware that the local dim sum is more expensive on sundays and public holidays. i did not notice it and paid extra for the similar food. totally not worth it,
