Close to Markets
Free shuttle
Rooms are dated, needs a soft renovation
room service food is not good
Sip Sip bar is very expensive for location and grade of hotel
Decided to bring family and stay close to the markets for evening shopping..Check in took quite a while as i work in hotels and could not figure out why the agent had to click his mouse 50 times to get my room key.. There was no one in line waiting..When I checked in I was surprised at the condition of the room, definitely nothing like the picture on the internet..one positive, the hotel was full so my aunt and uncle were put in a deluxe room, which had new carpeting and a bit bigger room size..I felt better for them..Went to Sip sip bar, which is small but "cozy" place..Ordered appetizers which were from room service and came cold...not good...a bit expensive for this part of town and 3 star hotel..
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hotel has free shuttle every 15 min to the Mong Kok MTR station

The rooms were very old and in a desperate need of updating. It was confusing as the room was nothing like the picture on-line. It was late at night so I did not say anything. Even the furniture in the restaurant needed updating. The gym room only had 4 treadmills and no weights at all.
This hotel is in desperate need of a facelift. The rooms are old and very dirty. I did not walk barefoot as the carpets were very dirty and you could see hair all over the place. The beds were extremely hard and the t.v was at least 20 years old. The restaurant downstairs was in desperate need of a makeover as well. The furniture was old and you could see the wearing dowen on all the wood chairs. The gym upstairs on the 19th floor only had 4 treadmills and no weights at all ( actually they had 2 weights 15lb and 10lb )The location is in an old area as well. I had to take a taxi to get to the shopping district. You can walk but it will take awhile and it might not be safe. Overall I will not stay in this hotel again. I did not say anything about the room as I checked in late from Singapore and was not in the mood to transfer everything to another room.

Location of the hotel disappointed us somewhat after having stayed at a 5 star hotel for a week in Hong Kong.
Lobby of the hotel was very nice; service very fast and impeccable.
Rooms for a couple was OK, but you could not fit anybody else in the room.
Room and bathroom very clean
Free shuttle bus (every 30 min) was very convenient: it had two stops beside the hotel, namely close to the waterfront at the Kowloon side overseeing the Hong Kong side (at 8 pm there is a musical light show, which is really worthwhile for any visitor; and a shopping market)
You could also buy a ride to the with another shuttle bus for 15 US dollars per person.
If I would ever travel to Hong Kong alone, I'd stay in this same hotel.
Shopping Tip : A street market is an approx 10 min walk away

Really nice hotel with rather big room in HK. Free internet access. 10 minutes to walk to Mongkok. Differnt styles of cafe/restrauant nearby. There's a swimming pool on the top level and it's really a pleasure experience. Free shuffle to Tsimshachui.

Great service. I requested for the same room that I stayed in previously. They did not have it but tried their best to give me a room few doors away, at the same floor. Free internet connection was really great. The bathroom amenities and accessories were detailed and fantastic.
Location a bit far from MTR or train station. But talking a short walk through buzzling Mongkok streets is fun. Most parts of the hotel are pretty aged.
2nd time I stayed in this hotel and once again it was a good experience. However, I really hope that the hotel will have plans to upgrade the other parts of the building, esp. the lift. I was unwell the day I had to check out and woke up late. The hotel staff who rang me straightaway offered to extend my check out time. It was much appreciated. I will return again.
Hotel Feature Tip : The selection of pillows is really very caring to the hotel guests.

nice staff, very clean comfort room and with very attractive swimming pool.
None at all.. almost perfect..
Metropark Kowloon Hotel is one of the best hotels i've ever had. Aside from very accomodating staff, very clean and organized room, we enjoyed using their amenities like swimming pool. It's just a walking distance place from the new shopping areas. Viability of the place is very much appreciated.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We enjoyed our in house tour package referred by the hotel. They are very informative in giving instructions and directions.
For shopping tips - we did enjoy also our shopping as it's just a 10 minute walk from the hotel...

Internet, morning buffet and access to lots of nearby facilities
room wasnt ready until 1300.
It was nice staying in this hotel. Restaurants, foot massage places, convenients stores, McDonald's, MTR stations and other hotels nearby make this a great place to stay. They had a bus to the MTR station but I never used it. I did a lot of walking with my friends to see the area and what it has. I enjoyed my stay in HK. I would definitely stay here again.
Shopping Tip : Mongkok MTR is a 15-20 minute walk but along the way you can shop. Temple market is the best place to go eat dinner then shop afterwards.

Good Location, Shuttle Bus to and from Tsim Sha Tsui and Mong Kok, Spacious Room.
Good hotel, maybe a bit over priced for a 4 star (but this is Hong Kong), never had a chance to try the restaurant so cant comment on that. Carpets and furnishings seemed a little outdated, but overall a fairly pleasent stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : On the ground floor opposite the cake shop is an office that does tour guides, definitely worth it.

The room is quite spacious for its price! It is clean and neat and the hotel staff are responsive to customers' needs.
YOu need to walk about 10 to 15 min to the mongkok night market.
For the price that I paid, it is a steal to get this room at the incredible rates given by AGODA. My colleague who went with me totally agreed and told me that she would opt for this hotel again if she were to travel later in the year or next year. A definite plus is that the MTR offers free transport from Kowloon station to the hotel and vice versa. So we kind of saved a fair bit on the transport costs. Overall a steal purchase from AGODA!

Polite and helpful staff especially the Front Office staff.
Hotel a bit too far from MTR, shuttle service interval too long.
Quality of house-keeping not consistent. During 2 of our 4 days stay, we experienced rather poor service, no tissue, bath foam replenish when stock low, soiled bedsheet not replaced. Fortunately, the service on the last 2 days was good.
Shopping Tip : Cheap and good western food restaurant short distance away from hotel.

Location is an excellent for shopping. Customers services are failrly good.
Room air-condition is rather COLD even though we have OFF our room air-conditional.
Excellent A1 location (for Metropark Hotel Kowloon) for shopping, especailly night shopping. Also, near-by Train Station is another KEY point, as I can invited my Chinese Customers & Friends to stay in this Hotel next time. Close to a lot of Eating House are an extra PLUs point.
Employees & Customers Services are SUPER too! With the above credits, my family will be returned to stay in Metropark Hotel Kowloon once we go to Hong Kong. I will provide it to my Company for corporate usage too. Thanks to Metropark & All Staffs!!!!
Restaurant Tip : Chen Zee BBQ Goose is Super Excellent!

(1) Conveniently located
(2) Very affordable by Hong Kong standard
(3) Well-designed room - comfortable although it's small
(4) Complimentary broadband internet access from rooms
If I really got to name one, I was a bit upset with the shuttle service provided by them.
I stayed a total of 7 nights in this hotel. By Hong Kong standard, it is very affordable, considering its location. I need lotsa bottled-water while travelling; having a convenient store nearby is definitely a plus point. In fact, there're 2 7-Eleven stores located within 1-2 mins walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel do provide airport transfer on regular basis for only HK$98/pax. It's cheaper than the Airport Express and they'll bring you right to the doorstep. On my arrival night, I was the only person who requested for airport transfer. Perhaps it wasn't economical enough for them to transfer me by bus; they immediately upgraded me to a Mercedes Benz S-class without additional charges.
I was checked-in to a recently-renovated room on the 4th floor. As far as size is concerned, it's small...that's expected by Hong Kong standard. I would say the room was very well designed - very comfortable despite the size. I'm no fan of bathtub and they provided exactly what I wanted - standing shower.
Another feature worth mentioning is the complimentary broadband internet facility from the room. Due to the nature of my work, I have to be in touch with many people although it was a leisure trip. Staying in this hotel helped me to reduce data charges significantly.
Unlike some other hotels, this hotel is not situated adjacent to any MTR stations; the nearest being the Mongkok MTR station which is 10 mins away by foot. I have no complaints about it since I enjoy walking. For those who've some issues about walking 10 mins, there's always the shuttle service that operates every 30 mins (15 mins frequency during peak hours) that stops near the Ladies Market, which is just about a minute walk away from Mongkok MTR station.
My only disappointment with the shuttle service - on one of the evenings, I wanted to catch the shuttle from Tsim Sha Tsui back to the hotel. Waited at the designated bus stop (New World Centre) for more than
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : It depends on what exactly interests you. Ladies Market is just nearby (within walking distance or if you wish, take the shuttle) for those who enjoy street shopping. Once you've reached Ladies Market / Mongkok MTR, Langham Place is not too far from there.
I don't really fancy shopping. Instead, I enjoy watching/exploring the uniqueness of a particular place. The famous Kowloon Fruit Market ("Gwo Laan") is located within walking distance from the hotel. It's also in Mongkok streets that you can experience the real life of Hong Kong.
During my stay, I was searching for an old-styled yumcha place...the oldest I could get was this placed called Tai Yue, located at the corner of Pitt St and Shanghai St. It may sound a bit too far from Metropark Kowloon, but I actually walked there from the hotel. If you want a taste of old-styled yumcha, I would recommend this place, although it might not be as hygienic as you would expect.

Hotel is clean, accessible and near the main shopping centers. The service is relatively good.
The reception personnel should be taught how to be friendly. They should be taught how to smile even though we know that they are somewhat tired.
We already have stayed in Metropark Hotel before and i guest that it has been worthwhile so that we will be booking in this hotel in the future if ever we come to Hongkong again. We can suggest to our friends who will be coming to Hongkong to make their booking in this Hotel because of the good experience we have had with it.

location a bit far from main shopping but fair enough.
rooms not fresh a bit of mold moisture smell and carpets need to be cleaned.
The overall location is okay its near the surrounding areas are a bit far to walk but okay for cab or bus. hong kong is not a big place so its pretty accessible everywhere. The cost to airport round trip is about $40usd. Staff was okay. Room may need to be freshend and carpet needs cleaning. The room smelled moist mold scent not so pleasant to be in all day. Price is so so if research more I would probably found a better place for the same price.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Take local bus if you want to save $$$$$ cause taxi is a bit pricey. If need to take cab take the red colorcab its cheaper than the black color cab. I learned it the expensive way.
