sometimes need to wait long Time for Taxi. The Metropark Hotel is a walking distance away from Wan Chai Bar street. The Rooms a very nice and clean. The Bathrooms are nice as well. Around the Hotel are a lot of Shopping Malls and almost everything can be reached by walking. Even this Area is very crowded and loud, the Rooms are silent about the double Glass Windows.
Nightlife Tip : many Bars around.

Location and the rooms are recently redecortaed Having to pay for internet I really like this hotel. It is in a great location and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious for the price and newly refurbished. I don't like having the extra charge for internet,but if you upgrade to junior suite the charge is waived. So another reason to upgrade. I stay here as often as I can and will continue to use this as my primary hotel in HK

Good location: near the Convention and Exhibition Center, near many good restaurants. Hotel rooms are clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection could be improved, some rooms are too small for 2 people. This hotel, in the heart of Wanchai business district, is recently renovated to offer a clean and enjoyable experience. Located near many restaurants and bars and is walking distance from the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. The staff are friendly and helpful. Broadband internet wireless service available for a reasonable price. Hotel room could be small depending on what type of room you get, but it is still manageable.

Elegant, uncluttered and soothing decor, quality furnishings and courteous staff. It is an unexpected surprise to discover a hotel that offers excellent style, service and location without any apparent downside. The friendly, prompt and helpful receptionist efficiently completed check-in procedures in mere minutes, very welcome after a tiring day's travel. The suite was the next surprise, spacious and elegant with tasteful furnishings, quality bed linen and stylish bathroom offering a high standard of comfort and full internet/tv facilities expected for any business hotel. There was no noise from the street even on a lower floor of the building; yet the location provided very convenient access to conference centre and transport to airport. Will not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel and I look forward to returning to enjoy their hospitality again.
Restaurant Tip : The Hopewell Centre at Queens Road East within short walk of Metropark Hotel, has the Megared Chiu Chow restaurant offering superb regional and local dim sum specialties - an ideal place for a business lunch with attentive service and delicious food.

2. The bathroom has a funny smell I stayed in Wanchai Metro Park Hotel in early March. The hotel is moderately decorated with a clean and cozy lobby. The check-in was smooth and room was in decent size by HK standards.
The only thing that I didn't like is the bathroom, which had a really weird smell throughout my stay.
The best part of the hotel should be the location. 5-min walk to WanChai MTR and 5-min walk to the heart of WanChai pub area, whether you like it or not.
I don't regret my stay there. But I don't mind trying some other hotels next time either.

Comfortable room, helpful staff and enjoyable stay Had an enjoyable stay at this hotel - was here for one night only though. Good location, helpful staff and comfortable room. Would recommend this hotel to other travellers, in particular business travellers. Was upgraded to a 'ladies only' room - to be honest I am not entirely sure what differentiated this from a standard room!

Location, cleaniness of room As always, I enjoyed my stay at the Metropark Wanchai. It's location near the MTR makes getting around the city easy and convenient for work or for play. And there is never lack of restaurants around for a good choice of place to eat. The rooms are clean, comfortable and in my opinion, large by Hong Kong standards. A great value for money, the Metropark Wanchai is a great choice to make when selecting a place to stay in Hong Kong.
Hotel Feature Tip : If you've taken the Airport Express train from Hong Kong airport, you can take the free shuttle bus from Hong Kong station and get off at the Empire Hotel stop. Metropark Wanchai is conveniently located right across the street.

The hotel is in a great location between Admiralty and Wanchai Metro stations. It is also well served by the tram running through Hong Kong Island.
The room rates are reasonable, the rooms are modern and very clean, and the breakfast buffet is quite good for its modest price. My stay at the Metropark Hotel Wanchai was better than expected. For a local brand hotel, it provides a great value for the money and is on par with some of the more famous, pricier hotel brands as far as room quality, cleanliness, hotel staff services, and breakfast.
Also, the hotel is in a great location, situated between the Admiralty and Wanchai Metro stations on Hong Kong Island and is also well-served by the tram running across Hong Kong Island.
Whether you come to Hong Kong for business or pleasure, the Hotel Metropark Wanchai should garner your consideration.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Hong Kong Park is just five to ten minutes walking distance from the hotel and is a great way to see the city and to relax.

Clean and modern hotel, nicely decorated, friendly staff, good breakfast. I have been in different hotels in Hong Kong but this one I like most. It has a great location (close to subway, you even have bus from/to airport in front of hotel) it is very nicely decorated, not only the rooms but the entire hotel, the people are extremely friendly. My experience is that the rooms (at least mine, and I had a standard room) are large enough, nicely furnished and decorated, and modern. And also the breakfast is very extensive and delicious. And waitresses are very quick and friendly. I advice you to ask for a 40% discount voucher for breakfast at check-in. It is really good value for money.
Travel tip : Ask for breakfast discount voucher at check-in (40%).

Rooms slightly small, Internet charges, no WiFi, No Gym. The hotel seems newly renovated with a nice restaurant on the second floor. I found the rooms average in size for Hong Kong. They are kept very well, clean and serviced on time with all the amenities of a four star hotel. The location is great if you’re attending a convention at the Wanchai center. It is a short walk, approximately five minutes to the center and less to the underground. If you like to work out, a Gym is a five minute walk with a 150 rmb charge per day. Restaurants are near.

No BBC nor CNN in the rooms. I found the staff of this hotel very kind and quick both at the checkin and checkout.
Room was clean and modern as well as the bath room if compared to the same range hotels in Wanchai. The location is great and near to MTR, tram, ferry and Exibition Center. The hotel is surrounded by bars, discos, restaurants and in the heart of the nightlife. I recommend it both to businessmen and tourists. Value for money.
Nightlife Tip : Nightlife under the hotel and plenty of bars and discos all around.

Location, Clean, Helpfull Staff Slight musty smell in the hallway, but not in the room. Fantastic Hotel for the price we paid. The hotel is right down the street form the MTR Station and is only 2 stops from Central HK. We were given a free upgrade to a family suite when we checked in. The luggage was brought up immediately and the staff were extremly friendly. We called for an iron and ironing board along with an extra towel and they arrived withen 2 minutes. What service!
Shopping Tip : The Wanchai market is 2 blocks away. Plenty of shops and convinience stores right outside the hotel.
