location, location, location. walking distance to MTR and exhibition centre. good food around.

lift is small. a few agogo bar on the street next to the hotel...(anyway, this can be a plus for somebody else.)

lift is very very small, max 4 people i think. if more than that, nobody can breathe properly. i stayed alone but they put me into a twin room.....without informing me.....(i would pay for an upgrade with a fair price for a big bed....) the front office staff, nicole, is very friendly and professional. the hotel has provided a very low rate after the swine flu outbreak, but think about it, they might have cleaned the hotel twice more than other places. and they should be very knowledgeable to prevent the disease. Should be safe to stay there. there is a deal which you can pay 2 nights and get the 3rd night for free. I would recommend this place to others.

Big and spacious room. Easy to access to good food.

There is no toilet at the lobby.

The hotel room is massive! The room is big and spacious and allow my family to sit and spread out to chat. The toilet is very clean. Their design is also very modern. The staffs there are very friendly and helpful, providing a good service too. The hotel also has easy access to local delicacies. I had a fun time at HongKong, wanchai.

Restaurant Tip : Do try Luk Yu restaurant for their delicious and famous dim sum. Do also prepare more money if you have a big appetitite.

Newly renovated. Great location for Wanchai. Breakfast ! Late check out agreed without fuss.

Small rooms. Stairs at lobby before the lifts - meaning you got to carry lugguge up n down stairs.

The hotel is newly removated and reasonably stylish. It is right in Wanchai so great location for exploring Wanchai and HK. The buffet breakfast is very good for this standard of hotel. Thr rooms are not huge and neither are their TV's, but thats HK.

Clean, great location, friendly staffs

Small size room, tiny lifts for guests, expensive

The room is very clean and the location is convenient. Also the staffs are very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel only have two tiny lifts for guests. Moreover, compare to the amount I was paying for, the size of the room is pretty small.

Knowing well that this hotel was recently in the News because of H1N1, my friends and I decided to take a chance to stay in this hotel. We were very delighted that our decision was correct as we were very much impressed with the hotel reception staff. They were very helpful and friendly. We asked for a spare bed but were upgraded to a suite paying a small nominal charge. We were surprised that the room was very big, extremely clean and cosy. The buffet that we had at the hotel restaurant was so much personalised and food generally fresh and good value for money. The hotel venue is just a short walking distance to the MTR station. We were so happy to have stayed in Metropark Wanchai.

Restaurant Tip : The buffet that was offered by this hotel was very personalised. They catered in small portion dishes but replenishment was fast. Every new replenishment was a different dish experience. Food was extremely fresh and high quality.

Very close to all location, 2 metros etc

Outside bars and traffic make a lot of noise

This hotel is good value for money, you will be close to everything in central Hong Kong with two metros just outside, lots of coffeshops, restaurants, food stores etc. You have one of the best malls Pacific Place just a few blocks away. Friendly staff will take good care of you. Hotel is clean and nice. Cheap access to internet. McDonalds just outside if you are jetlagged and get hungry late.

Restaurant Tip : Tai Ji reastaurant in the cornet of Jaffe and Luard (just behind the hotel and a block to the right) great chinese food, excellent service and good command of English.

newly restorated very clean door to door airport bus A11 conveniantly located

expensive for small and dark rooms greedy expensive Internet (many unsecure wifi from neighborring)

This hotel change his name,it' was Harbor wie Hotel, like most China mainland hotels no wie at all, muchless the harbor,at that it was reputated very cheap at that time. Today it's a cheap renovated expensive hotel. Hotel nik name in Hong Kong "Hospital Hotel" as it experience quarantine for pig flu, today probably the cleanest hotel in Hong Kong First time I took the bus from the airport, it's very good, great sightseen on fantastics hanging bridges and enjoy when I discover that the bus stop was infront my hotel door. Will do it again if they lower theire abusives rates and free Internet needed

Travel tip : Airport bus stop infront the door Half way Admiralty/Causeway Bay,near MTR station

ROOM 1707 WAS OK ,i like big rooms .Great location .

i think that most rooms are very small , the lobby has nothing to offer .

The Hotel has a great location but should have more facilities. most people are looking for Gym , sauna, massage place , etc. Breakfast is very minimal and should be more rich in variety . The staff is very nice and willing to help in any request. It is good value for money and with some more facilities can be a "home run"

Nightlife Tip : Best location for bars in the area

THe Metro Park Hotel is ideally located in Wan Chai on Hennessy Road & Fenwick crossings. There are many many restaurants of ethnic choices, lots of nightlife, bars & clubs visited by expats & locals. Public transport, taxi's, bus & metro subway plus the Wan Chai Ferry to Kowloon & Hung Hom. Staff Reception, Maids, Bellhop, etc all very helpful.

Room was alittle small but comfortable. There were no drawers to place shirts, underwear, small clothing & personal effect. Only a small closet with not enough hangers.

Overall my stay of 6 days was quite enjoyable and comfortable. Floor maids prove especially helpful with services for room. Suggest to leave HKD10.- bed pillow to ensure service. Safe in room prove very useful. 7/11 opposite hotel open 24/7 and money saver for everday small needs.Would stay here again.

Nightlife Tip : Visitors looking for the nightlife action should visit the bars Neptune II, Joe Bananas, Trafikk & Spicy Fingers. Be prepared to spend a minimum of HKD50.-to 60.- drink.

Clean room, good location, friendly staff

Grotty bathrooms!!...was put into a smoking room even though we booked a non smoking room - although they did move us on the 2nd day

Its a bit like a Premier inn, so we knew what to expect. The bathrooms were a bot grotty, but other than that it was fine, nothing special, but fine for what we needed, although a bit expensive considering.

Shopping Tip : The Ladies market is better than temple market...there's not a lot to do in HK other than shop!

Very close to all HK attractions, nice staff, nice service, nice food, clean, big rooms, comfortable

Noisy from traffic and bars around

Metropark is located in the very heart of HK, close to all businerss, malls, shops, restaurants and bars. Walking distance to Central and Admiralty metro stations. It is a nice and clean hotel, well worth the money. Friendly staff, good food in the restaurant, very affordable lunch buffet, roomservice. Spacious rooms and bathrooms with tub.Not just a bed but sofas and desk and room for 4 suitcases. Many international TV channels especially for News and Sport. I could absolutely recommend this hotel

Shopping Tip : Pacific Place mall just a few blocks away is a really great shopping palace in HK

Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Friendly and attentive staff. Good location.

Nothing major. Lack of choice on TV. No double bed. Limited choice of drinks in minibar.

When we arrived we discovered from the local Time Out Magazine that the Metropark had been the hotel quarantined in the news recently for swine flu. However don't let that put you off, apart from a quick temperature check when we arrived (but this happened all across our Far East travels) it was business as usual. The hotel looks far more expensive that the reduced rate I paid on Agoda. It is far better that similarly priced hotels I have stayed in, in Europe. When we arrived we were told that we were being upgraded to an executive room but I was hard pressed to tell the difference from the picture on the internet of the room I had booked. The room was large and spacious with a decent sized bedroom and large bathroom. The only gripe was that hotels seem to locate the bathroom door in front of the toilet with little space between them, leading to possible back/ knee injuries. The room was cleaned regularly and to a good standard. Soundproofing was reasonable and we were not disturbed by noise from outside. The minibar had a limited choice but normally I wouldn't use it because of the cost and they were happy to accomodate our duty free in the minibar. I strongly advise anyone who drinks alcohol to get spirits and wine in duty free as alcohol in most places is very expensive. Staff were helpful and attentive at all times, even requesting a face to face discussion about the quality of service and accomodation that they provide. The location is great very close to Central and easy to get to Kowloon via Metro or Ferry. The taxi's are generally cheap but crossing the harbour by taxi can be very expensive in comparison. The tram's are really the most fun way to get around and very very cheap. The area around Wan Chai has lots of bars and restaurants generally catering to a more european palate. The bars did tend towards being tacky but still some great little places for a drink. 1/5 Nuevo on Star street had some cracking

Nightlife Tip : Try a bar called 1/5 Nuevo on Star Street or The Pawn nearby towards Causeway Bay.
